President Trump wheels up on Air Force 1 as he has headed down to Dallas to headline the first night of the midterm convention. It's the first time either party has ever done something like this. Think of it as like the presidential nominating convention. The Republicans had theirs in Milwaukee two years ago. Only for the midterms. This is designed to generate interest in the midterm elections, designed to try to get turnout of non-traditional voters, voters who in the past have really only turned out in presidential elections, buoying President Trump to wins in 2016 and 2024. But essentially staying home and costing Republicans in both 2018 and 2022. Will it be successful? Ultimately, we're not going to know until November 3. So we will be providing coverage of the midterm convention.

2:02For those asking and a lot of people have been asking if I was going to be down there, I was in fact invited to provide coverage down at the midterm convention. I sort of figured frankly, I would be better off here. I don't know, I really didn't want to travel. Now, Democrats of course are going to use that as evidence that Trump's convention is going to be a big flop. They have already been asking pretty much every Republican, are you going to attend? Are you going to be their Republicans? Because if not, that means that you are breaking with Trump or maybe that you recognize that President Trump is so historically unpopular, you can't possibly be seen at his convention. We will deal with that at the Daily Trump day. That's coming up about an hour from now here on the Dan O'Donnell show. We've got a whole lot to get to, but we begin with a pretty big exclusive story. Milwaukee County executive David Crowley, who is now the Democratic nominee for governor,

3:06directed Milwaukee County's lobbyists at taxpayer expense to lobby the state legislature in support of a bill that would have created essentially a standing pot of taxpayer money for immigration legal services available to illegal immigrants. This, according to state lobbying records, obtained exclusively by me. 2025 assembly bill 475 was introduced by socialist democratic rep Ryan Clancy and co-sponsored by fellow socialist Francesca Huang would have required the Department of Administration to award grants to community-based organizations for civil legal aid in immigration matters. The bill's language specified that grant recipients must provide services, quote, without regard to the client's immigration status. It would have established a continuing

4:09$300,000 in taxpayer funded appropriations. An organization such as radical left wing illegal immigration group, Vosis De La Frontera, were among the types of groups that could have received those funds. Milwaukee County registered in support of the bill. Remember, this was just last year. So, this is not ancient history. This is not in the peak woke era of 2020 to about 2024. And Milwaukee County reported more than $210,000 in lobbying expenses during the last legislative session 2025 to 2026. Now, assembly bill 475 because it is so radical, as you could expect, didn't advance in the Republican controlled Wisconsin legislature, but Crowley was directing hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money while I might add. Crowley's Milwaukee County was running about $168 million to $169 million budget deficit over the next

5:16five years. This is significant because what it reiterates is that his stance on illegal immigration and making the Milwaukee County and making Wisconsin into a sanctuary jurisdiction. This is not just campaign rhetoric designed to move to the left and keep up with Huang in a very topsy turvy democratic primary. This is his actual belief structure. Now, the Tom Tiffany campaign has put out video of Crowley. And this is actually from Crowley's own tick-tock account of him saying at the home of a supporter that when it comes to the LGBTQ community, when it comes to the illegal immigrant communities, not just an ally, he's unaccomplished. When it comes down to the immigrants, when it comes down to the LGBTQ community, always say, I'm not an ally, I'm an accomplice. I'm going to be with you no matter what. Well, I think he's taking that literally because it wasn't just AB 475 that Milwaukee

6:24County's taxpayer-funded lobbyists were lobbying in support of this past session. Assembly Bill 57, another one co-sponsored by Francesca Huang, would have barred state and local officials, including law enforcement officials, from helping to detain people solely on immigration status at designated sensitive locations, churches, hospitals, and schools. The practical effect of that would have been to create literal sanctuaries that illegals could have simply ducked into. And I don't know, an immigration warrant suddenly has no effect. Once again, this piece of legislation never saw the light of day. It was never brought up for a vote in the full assembly because Republicans controlled the legislature and essentially were saving Democrats from themselves by not forcing members to take votes on truly insane legislation. But

7:27once again, you have gotten the Milwaukee County executive, David Crowley, who's supposedly the moderate in this race. Remember, we have been told like Democrats, they came to their senses. They elected the moderate. Francesca Huang, she's a radical socialist. Yes, we get that. Well, not only did David Crowley support her legislation, truly radical left wing legislation on illegal immigration, he was spending your money lobbying in support of its passage. Not only that, we found lobbying records that indicate the Milwaukee County lobbying team also supported assembly bill 441. Now this would have been essentially the same sort of illegal mask prohibition that the city of Milwaukee passed, that is blatantly unconstitutional. This would have prohibited ICE agents statewide from concealing their faces during

8:31rests or operations. Now, why do you suppose ICE agents feel the need to conceal their faces while they're conducting operations? It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that insane Democrats, including yesterday's unhinged liberal of the day, this Cal State Los Angeles professor who said, let's, hey, this ICE agent, this criminal ICE agent is staying at this hotel. Let's go bleep him up. She was literally doxing an ICE agent. And over the weekend, calling for an audience at some conference that she was speaking in front of to go bleep him up. We have all seen what leftists were doing to ICE agents, FBI agents, and anybody else during the Battle of Minneapolis in the early portion, first couple of weeks of this year. ICE agents are terrified. And many federal agents are terrified of the left wing mob that seeks to identify them, seeks to dox them and their families.

9:32David Crowley didn't just come out in support of assembly bill 441, which would have prohibited ICE agents from protecting themselves from the braying mobs. He paid tax dollars, your dollars, to lobby for it. Not only that, Milwaukee County also registering in favor of assembly bill 444, which would have banned state agencies and local governments, including sheriff's departments from using their facilities to detain people on the basis of immigration status. Why is this so significant? Because this essentially turns pretty much every single community into a sanctuary community, because you can't use your jail to house illegal immigrants. You are not able to detain people. You're not able to cooperate with ICE. And naturally, naturally, there was another

10:35another David Crowley and his lobbying team at Milwaukee County really have had a field day coming out in support and spending taxpayer dollars, lobbying in support of truly radical anti-ice pro illegal immigrant bills, including assembly bill 739. This is yet another one authored by Francesca Horn. It would have ended with our known as 287G agreements. Those are ones where local law enforcement is able to partner with ICE and other federal immigration authorities in order to essentially hold illegal immigrants for pickup later. It would have also restricted local law enforcement agencies from assisting ICE in detentions. Again, none of these pieces of legislation advanced Republicans control the state legislature, although this should give you a pretty good indication of what sort of bills would be on the docket if Democrats take over the state Senate, take over the state assembly.

11:39And if David Crowley is somehow able to win the governor's mansion, in fact, Democrats just today are growing about the possibility. There is a representative from the Democratic Senate leadership fund or the DSCC, the Democratic Senate, whatever the state version of the DSCC is, saying, oh, yeah, yeah, this is the most favorable environment that we've ever had. And we think that a trifecta is certainly within the realm of possibility. We believe that a trifecta is going to happen. Well, this is exactly the sort of package of bills that would not just come up for a vote, but would be passed, would be signed into law. Half of them, it is very telling, were co-authored or co-sponsored by Francesca Horn. Now, Crowley has said repeatedly, he's not going to partner

12:39with ICE. Again, he's not just a supporter of illegal immigrant communities, he's also an accomplice. He would absolutely sign all of these bills into law. In fact, he's been a staunch supporter throughout his career of increased benefits for illegal immigrants. He's pushed for driver's licenses for illegals. He actually co-authored legislation back when he was a state legislator providing illegals with in-state college tuition subsidized by, yes, you, me, and every other taxpayer in the state. And he's repeatedly called for abolishing ICE. In fact, at a recent Democrat town hall, he was asked, would you as governor and all support for ICE? This was one of these questions where Democrats, I love these town halls, where they all have a little

13:40yes or no sign. It's yes in green, no in red. They're all asked the exact same question. They hold up their little ping pong paddle. Would you believe that after this question was asked, David Crowley raised his paddle even faster than Franny Hong? Federal immigration agents have often targeted labor and community leaders. Would you direct state government agencies to not work with federal immigration authorities? Yeah. Crowley actually had his paddle up before Hong. This would depend upon how exactly the instructions would go amount to obstruction of federal immigration authority. In fact, we broke this story here on the Dan O'Donnell show early in 2025, early in President Trump's second term, that in fact, governor Evers was offering illegal advice and illegal directives to all state employees to essentially when an ICE agent comes to a state

14:45agency or comes to a state office, you are to and I quote, put them in a conference room or other non public area while you get your supervisor or legal counsel. You're you're essentially supposed to trap the ICE agents in the back room and I don't know, get all of the illegal immigrants who are apparently working in state government out the back door. Well, David Crowley, just like Franny Hong supports this. Now he was actually just asked JR Ross of whispolitics.com in a recent podcast that he hosted with all of the Democratic primary opponents. He asked flat out. David Crowley, as governor, would you cooperate with ICE? You believe local sheriffs had honor immigration retainers? Absolutely not. Absolutely not. In fact, the safest way for illegal immigration operations

15:48to be conducted is to take illegal immigrant criminals out of jail. Why? Because you know, they're not armed here in Wisconsin. We had easily the most famous case actually in David Crowley's Milwaukee County of what happens when liberals essentially take the law into their own hands. When ICE agents and it wasn't actually an ICE team, it was a federal arrest team led by an FBI agent came to arrest a violent illegal immigrant criminal who was appearing before the Milwaukee County judge Hannah Dugan. Dugan gave the illegal immigrant criminal a heads up, led him through the jury room door and attempted to get him to escape captain. Now, fortunately, one member of that federal arrest team saw this go down. They were able to take the guy into custody after he tried running away from them once he got downstairs and outside of the courthouse building. But this is precisely the sort of thing that keeps agents and keeps

16:48illegals and keeps members of the public safe when you can go into secure areas and simply without any moths without any fuss arrest illegal immigrants. It is much much easier for everyone. In fact, this is the big reason that there has been such a dramatic uptick in enforcement actions. 50,000 illegal immigrants taken off the streets just in the last month and president Trump is aiming to dramatically increase that. You're not hearing about it. You're not seeing any of these arrests because they're taking place very quickly, very safely and very quietly. So as not to freak out the pro illegal mob that apparently includes Milwaukee's county executive as well as the democratic nominee for governor. 17:50social media presence to provide instructions to the public specific instructions on how to resist and obstruct ICE agents and he even promoted a community resource hub that provides legal aid to illegal aliens who break the law. This is about as radical as it gets, but when you also spend $200,000 plus on lobbying efforts to try to get state law changed to essentially turn Wisconsin into a sanctuary state, that's something the entire state needs to take note of. I did reach out to the Milwaukee County executive's office, which naturally has not yet responded to a request for comment on these lobbying efforts. 23:05story at the start of this hour that David Crowley instructed the lobbyists that Milwaukee County does have to support every radical pro illegal immigrant anti ice bill that was on the docket. This session, this is not ancient history. This is not peak woke where, you know, David Crowley can simply say, well, everybody went a little nuts during the woke era of 2020, 2021. No, this, this was this year and the year before. This is the current legislative session. In fact, I'm sure if I went back with some of those lobbying records, I could find even crazier things that David Crowley has been in support of and more significantly. And this is, this is, you know, it's obviously okay. It's a big deal that the county executive and now the Democratic nominee for governor, he supports all of this crazy woke anti ice pro illegal immigrant nonsense. The fact that he is

And remember, because of shared revenue, it is all of our taxpayer money, your tax dollars, even if you live in sock County or Iowa County, your tax dollars are going to Milwaukee County through shared revenue. And remember, David Crowley was begging a long side Milwaukee's mayor, Cavalier Johnson for more of that sweet, sweet shared revenue cash that he immediately blew apparently on lobbying to spend more tax dollars on support for illegal immigrants because they're running. How do you? Okay, I'm sorry I keep coming back to this folks. How do you get $107, $107? If he got $107, he's getting like $107 per millisecond in sales tax revenue, $107 million on average per year in new sales tax revenue after David Crowley nearly

25:08doubled the sales tax in Milwaukee County, $177 million per year. And he's still running a nearly $177 million budget deficit. I don't even think you have to work at being that fiscally incompetent. So Crowley is coming out in support of and lobbying in support of and using your tax dollars to support all of this crazy pro illegal immigration stuff. How about this story? There was a deliberate attempt to bury over the Labor Day weekend. An illegal immigrant living in Baloitte. I saw the headlines over the weekend. A Baloitte man has been charged with illegally voting in Wisconsin's November 22 general election. A Baloitte man named Jesus, Javier, Harado, Garcia. Yeah, that is a long time Baloitte native man. He's been here forever. No, he's 25 years old. He

26:12was criminally charged September 2nd. He's an illegal from Mexico. He's been charged with voting as an alien prosecutor said he knew he was not a US citizen when he cast a ballot. November 8th, 2022 in an election that included races for the US Senate and House of Representatives. That's what makes this a federal crime. If convicted, the Baloitte native, Jesus, Javier, Harado, Garcia faces up to a year in prison. A judge would impose any sentence under federal law and sentencing guidelines. US attorney's office said in a statement protecting the integrity of federal elections is a fundamental responsibility of this office. The charge against this defendant reflects our commitment to enforcing the law and ensuring that every vote cast complies fully with federal requirements. No one is above these obligations. 27:15US attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin. Now this was part of a broader announcement this week. Five people in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Wisconsin all charged with illegal voting or fraudulent registration in the 2022 or 2024 elections, which is weird because I have it on very good authority that we don't need to crack down on this sort of stuff because it never, ever, ever actually happens. The statutory deadline for clerks to send those ballots out is September 17th. We literally do not have election day or even election week or the election two week period.

28:20We have more than a month of voting now. As of this morning, according to the Wisconsin election commission, 282,396 Wisconsin voters have requested absentee ballots ahead of the November 3rd general election. Of those requests, 66,565 ballots have been sent to voters and 36 completed ballots have already been returned to clerks. How early are Democrat communities sending out their ballots? This is what I want to know because you know, damn well, it is in Democratic communities that they are getting these out as quickly as the only thing that Democrat communities that Democrat government officials will do quickly and efficiently is get those ballots in the hands of voters. Yeah, they won't count them that fast day of that's for damn sure. For comparison sake

29:26in the 2024 general election, about 550,000 voters returned absentee ballots by mail. Another 950,000 voted early in person at clerks offices or designated early voting locations. That is a total of 41,000 or excuse me, 41% of voters, 41% of voters did not vote on election day. They voted early in person or they voted by mail. In person absentee voting is scheduled to begin October 20th hours of vary by municipality. Who do you want to bet has way more early voting hours? We fought tooth and nail against Democrat counties and Democrat municipalities like Milwaukee and Madison to try to get uniform dates for in person early voting because it is so inherently unfair.

30:29If the biggest communities and the biggest counties all have the most early voting hours and all have the most staff members who are able to process early voting and send out these ballots and do all of this. Who do you think is going to have a massive advantage? Rather obviously it is the Democrats. This by the way is why we are once again doing the state's largest early vote drive here on the Dan O'Donnell show. We do it every single election not because I love early voting but because I hate because I think it is such a massive advantage for Democrats. They have two months. You have got 36 people have already voted. How is this even possible? I guarantee it. Do you think there is a single Tom Tiffany vote in any one of those 36 ballots that have already voted? I could not fathom

31:33there being a single Tom Tiffany vote. Now, so we do the state's largest early vote drive because it is my aim to do away with in-person absentee, balloting, mail-in balloting, save for how we did early voting for much of this country's history. If you had a valid excuse, if for example, you were going to be on vacation, this is something that we run into each and every partisan primary because it's in August. The August 11th primary saw much lower turnout than you would expect even though this was probably the single most watched Democrat primary of the entire summer across the nation because it was going to be the biggest test of DSA socialism with franny Huang going against David Crowley turns out Democrats were successfully able to rig their primary in favor of Crowley and against Francesco Huang. I'll tell you what if I was a DSA member, I'd still be pretty ticked about that and I wouldn't

32:38want data center David Crowley to be my governor, but hey, that's just me. Not a lot of people voted in that primary comparatively speaking to how many are going to vote in the general election, how many typically will vote in presidential primaries when they're contested by the time Wisconsin's primary rules around simply because there are so many people who are on vacation. It's August. It's the most popular month by far for people to take vacations. So what the law said for a long time is if you go to your clerk's office and hey, I am not going to be here. All right, we will let you vote early because you got an excuse. Well, what happened was that Democrats realized that no excuse early vote. If we have election month instead of election day, we can have all of our paid organizers, all of these groups that totally weren't funded with USAID money, but now suddenly

33:40have severe financial crunches. Now that USAID has been defunded, they will go out and they will find every single person who could possibly be registered and signed up to vote. And then there is the rather obvious, unseemly side of things. It is way easier to cheat using absentee ballots than anything else. And in fact, the Wisconsin elections commission as liberal and thoroughly useless as it is actually did say today that it believes the now former green Bay clerk Celestean Jeffries broke state law when she sent out multiple absentee ballots duplicate ballots to several voters twice in the past couple of elections. You couldn't easily, I mean, the main headliners, we know president Trump is going to speak and I believe nine eight central tonight. He is going to go directly up against the season opener of the NFL. Although I suspect, I suspect not a lot of people know that the NFL season opener is tonight. Do you know why it's on a way? I know, I know, I know, but how many people, Dave says he doesn't, yeah, not a lot of people. No, I get it. Everybody is aware that the NFL season opens up this week up until like last Monday, I thought that the NFL season, like it always does kicked off on a Thursday. Now, I am told it's not necessarily because the NFL just wants to control another night of football, which it totally is, but it's because tomorrow nights game.

43:04What is that? The Rams in 49ers, they're playing in Australia. So they're actually going to be playing at like 11 a.m. on Friday, local time, but that game is going to be broadcast at the normal time of 737 35 p.m. tomorrow night. The NFL's explanation was that they wanted another game not to interfere with the Australia product. Okay. And they wanted enough time because it's one of 16-hour flight for the Rams in 49ers to get back in plenty of time for their next week's game. I think it's because the NFL just totally wants to dominate Wednesday. And I'm telling you, folks, Packers play Wednesday night game. It's the Wednesday that the night before thanks giving this year. They've got that game. I'm telling you by next season, you are going to see at least five or six Wednesday games. You're going to see Wednesday be the night. Almost certainly they open up the season

44:07again. And then there's a Thursday game. They take Friday and Saturday off so they don't compete with or dominate high school and college football. And then they have a ton of games on Sunday, then Sunday night football, which is typically the most watched program of the entire week. And then Monday night football, which unfortunately sort of feels like an also Ram Monday night football when I was growing, that was the big one. Now because Sunday night football is on NBC, it's on the network. And Monday night football is on ESPN. Yes, I know they will cycle cast it on ABC if it's a local game and that sort of thing. But it just it doesn't feel as big as it used to Sunday night. And I guess that's not really a surprise. Sunday night is typically the biggest night of television watching in as much as people still sit down and watch shows on the night that they originally air. You're look at what's going on in Donald Trump's Washington or in this case Dallas because all eyes are on the lone star state as the midterm convention is now underway. President Trump at joint base Andrews before getting on Air Force one to head down to Dallas to questions from reporters and one of them from ABC asked Mr. President, why do you think so many Republicans are avoiding this event? Is it because they know you suck? Well, okay, she didn't ask that second part, but that was clearly the implication and

46:11Trump rightly called her out on it. President, does that mean Republicans and competitive races are not coming to the convention? Do you understand why they're deciding not to come? Everybody that's come everybody's coming to the convention. Everybody wants to come, but we only want and the people that are come, by the way, we're going to be sold out tonight just so you understand who you with. ABC, they're starting. ABC, fake, this is the worst. You are the worst of all in my opinion. The reason that some people are not coming is because we don't have room for 500 politicians. We have room for the ones that have a close race if they're slightly behind or slightly ahead or tied, but we don't have rooms for people that are 35 points up and don't need to be there. We said stay back in campaign. Every politician that we wanted to be there is there. So the media is already going into overdrive with this narrative that nobody wants to go and and nobody wants to be seen with Trump. They already tried it this week with Tom Tiffany. You had

47:12a reporter asked, so how come you're not going to the midterm, he's running for governor of Wisconsin. He what what? I just I it boggles my mind. The midterm convention is all about the Congress. It is all about the House of Representatives and the Senate, but of course Tiffany was asked in an accusatory manner yesterday. So why aren't you going? I am busy this week and starting right here in Milwaukee, we're going to be covering the entire state going Madison, Warsaw, Green Bay, and all over the state of Wisconsin. We got meetings going on everywhere. So unfortunately, I'll not be able to attend because my mission here is to meet as many voters in Wisconsin as possible. We've only got eight weeks before the election and I got a whole lot of voters to be able to meet until then because the the future of our state is at state. Yes, it is our state, not

48:12Texas. So President Trump also answered questions and said a couple of very revealing things on the tarmac today about the Iran war. He predicted multiple times in fact that the war would end as soon as the midterms are over. I think the war is going to end immediately after the election. I think the war will end immediately after the election because they can't hold out any longer. They're desperate to try and affect the election so that we can get a nice week group of people and leave them alone and let them have their nuclear weapon. All they want is a nuclear weapon. And if they had a nuclear weapon, the whole world is in deep trouble. Now think about what it is the President just said. Iran is trying to hold out until after the midterm election and hold out as long as they possibly can because they know that keeping the straight of war moves closed when it actually

49:13isn't or at least keeping the narrative open that the straight of war moves is closed helps Democrats. Democrats getting elected in turn helps Iran because they would vote against anything that President Trump would want to do legislatively to put pressure on Iran, whether that's voting to end any sort of military engagement that President Trump would ramp back up or anything else. Iran strategically thinks that Democrats are good for Iranian interests and this is undoubtedly true. Now as a result of this because Iran, now what do you think the single biggest thing that Iran can do to try to affect the outcome of the election? That's right. Keep gas prices artificially high. Keep commercial ships terrified to try to traverse the straight of war moves. Keep oil prices artificially high. This is why President Trump is also predicting that gas prices

50:18are going to go down immediately after the midterms because Iran is going to do everything in its power to try to get Democrats elected. Right after the election because they like to have it that way but right after the election, oil prices are going to be tumbling downward. They're going to be tumbling down and we'll get them down. I think for gasoline, we'll get them below $2 a gallon. But not until after the midterms. I think it's going to take a little bit longer than the midterms. Because again, Iran is trying its level best to hold out so that the United States has no choice but to essentially endure higher gas prices the rest of the world. Higher gas prices means more people ticked off at Trump and gas prices are really the only thing that Democrats can kind of say, well, the price of gas is artificially high because of Trump. The price of everything else is artificially high because of Democrats. There is no actual way to argue against this. In fact,

51:19I would love to hear any liberal try, try to make the case that President Trump is responsible for the massive price in pretty much everything. You can't because the data is clear. The price shock came in 2021 and 2022 and it was a direct result of $1.2 trillion in government spending as well as the sudden importation of millions and millions of people creating a massive demand shock at the same time that supply was still down because the world was coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was by the way exacerbated by liberal governments keeping their economies and keeping their citizens at home for far longer than they needed to be. Now, President Trump also answered some questions on things not related to Iran. He had a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin as the two as well as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky tried to end the nearly

The hold up is two people that hate each other. What do you think is more than anything else? It's two people that hate each other. What it seems that gives you confidence that it's a problem? I speak to people. That's all I do is speak to people. My whole life, I know about deals and these are two people that are tired of fighting. It could happen. We had a good conversation. We have over a thousand manufacturing companies in the Walker Shaw County law. People want to be here. It's what we're facing a lot of challenges. I think keeping Walker Shaw County winning, keeping Walker Shaw winning, it's protecting what works, identifying what does not,

It's almost like I do this for a living source. Sorry to interrupt, but I appreciate I've noticed every question you're like, that's a really good question. I'm like, you know what? Maybe I should be running for Walker Shaw executive. I seem to have this to know I'm kidding. I've kidding. I can't answer. These are the older things. I can't answer any of these questions. No, what, what isn't working because I've got a, I've got a pretty good idea of what people have told me hasn't been working in Walker Shaw County, but what, I don't want to put any words into your mouth. What do you, what do you plan to address? Like what are some of the big things that need fixing right

59:52away? Well, it started with the fact we're sending too much money to Madison, especially with the fact of running a huge surplus. It's something I'm proud of as a legislator. The fact that we've been able to cut taxes by over seven billion dollars since I've been elected, but also run a huge surplus. Okay, take the registered deeds off it. For example, we collect 11.6 million dollars in real estate fees, but we send 80 percent or 9.3 million back to the state. So I'm keeping just 20 percent despite doing all of the work. Flip that and that's a huge win for us. You need the right leaders that are willing to work with people in Madison, work with people in the county board to make that happen. Now, the one area of disagreement I had with my very good friend of the late county executive, Paul Farrell was on the issue of the sales tax. There was a proposal to raise the county sales tax. I vehemently opposed it. Paul had told me that there was a bit of

1:00:59a revenue problem in Walker, Shaw County is that accurate or is it more of a spending problem? Do you think you said you want to fight against the sales tax? So you recognize that there are members of the county board who still do want to raise that sales tax. What is your sort of overall thought on revenue in Walker, Shaw County and how does that issue get solved if the sales tax does not go up? Well, some of the factors have been a lot of tools in government efficiency recently that we should be able to implement to be able to get more for less. I think we should be able to utilize tools in the market to produce more. I think that we should start by looking at cutting spending or ways that we can address or spending problem first. The thing is there are things we need to invest in in Walker, Shaw County, like our expo center or the county fair

1:02:04grounds or things that we need to look at ways we can do growth for growth economic policies. I think that when you look at that instead of having it where we have to raise any taxes because I do not support that, I will not be raising taxes. It is county executive, but what we can look at is flipping the fees around and having the state who is doing all the work collect more so we are able to make sure we are continuing to invest in our priorities because there are things that we need to invest in. But I think that we should be able to get more for less because of all the tools that exist right now. And I also think that we do not need to raise taxes to do it. And we pay them hundreds of thousands of dollars to lobby for such insane things as to set aside hundreds of thousands more dollars for illegal immigrants to access a legal aid fund for their immigration attorneys. In other words, David Crowley, and this was not years ago. This was literally a 2025 bill. He wants illegal immigrants in the state of Wisconsin so badly that he wants to provide them with free legal aid so they can access immigration attorneys. And when I say free, I mean paid for by you, John Q taxpayer. He also came out in favor of and

1:22:23sicked his lobbyists as Milwaukee County executive on supporting a bill, multiple bills that were co-written by Francesca Hong that would not allow ICE agents to cover their faces to protect them from doxing attempts by David Crowley and Francesca Hong voters. Yes, I will dare to guess that every single person who would dox an ICE agent would vote for either David Crowley or Francesca Hong. You also had bills that your tax dollars were lobbying in support of now. Does everybody know what lobbying means? The WBA and just to be clear, I think the WBA is a fantastic organization. They do lobbying work on behalf of local broadcasters. In fact, they do very, very good work. They are a very good professional organization for all of us in the broadcasting industry in Wisconsin. I've got no beef with the WBA at all except for the way they've handled their debates. One of the moderators is a very, very, very liberal activist hack. Her name is Jill Geisler. She is a retired or I don't know if she's actually, she's a professor emeritus, I believe, down at Loyola Chicago. They have this woman

She and fellow journalist Alfredo Carbohal organized programs for, quote, diverse emerging leaders beginning in 2012.
