Injuries and a dangerous driving crash right in London's west end. Despite a fresh epilepsy diagnosis, she hopped behind the wheel anyway, lost control at Piccadilly Circus and plowed into a pedestrian in her own. Back in July 7th, 2024, Amber had a seizure at home and her doctor straight up banned her from driving for a year, even telling her to notify the DBLA. Before months later, on November 12th, she was cruising Regenstreet with her aerospace engineering classmate Aisha Chima riding shotgun when another fit kicked in. The Toyota Yaris jumped the curb, slamming into pedestrian Marlon Villarreal and sending him tumbling into a fountain. Then smashed into a lamppost near a busy restaurant. Chima tried to bail out, yelling for help, but ended up with a fractured leg while Villarreal dealt with brain bleeding cuts and bruises, both.

1:02Still recovering from the nightmare. Southward Crown Court heard how Amber ignored clear medical advice with the judge calling it a deliberate choice that could have been deadly. Chima shared her ongoing pain and fear in a statement, and Amber owned up to immaturity in her guilty plea to the two charges. She'll serve just over a year before parole eligibility, plus a three year four month driving ban, and she's already apologized to her friend. Cases like this hit hard, reminding everyone, medical rules on the road ain't optional.
