0:00It's March 27th, from breaking news to Sunday match-ups. This is NFL News Today. Buffalo Bill's fans can breathe easy, as safety to Mar-Hamlin is sticking around. The team announced Friday they've resigned him to a one-year deal. It's the second offseason in a row, he's inked a short-term contract with the squad that picked him in the sixth round back in 2021. Last season in 2025, Hamlin's year guy cut short by a pectoral injury. He played just five games as a reserve, after starting in the secondary of the previous year during 2024. You might remember Hamlin from that frightening night in December 2022. He collapsed on the field, with cardiac arrest, during a match-up against the Bengals. Quick work by medical staff restored his heart beat, thanks to a rare condition called Komoteo-Cortis from a chest impact. Hamlin bounced back strong, suiting up for five games in 2023. Now he's set to prep for his six-season anchoring Buffalo's defense.
1:03This move keeps a resilient player in the fold, giving the bill's continuity as they build for the future.
