Museum officials are thrilled, calling it a game changer that elevates the spot to world-class status. Since opening over a decade ago, it has pumped more than $1 billion into the local economy. The expansion carries an estimated price tag of $65 million. Crews plans to break ground this fall, aiming for a grand opening in 2028.
