Dak Leaves Colorado for Vanderbilt

0:00On April 19th, Colorado men's basketball just lost two key pieces from their roster. Forward Bengott Dack, a 7-foot junior, committed to Vanderbilt after three seasons with the buffs. This comes right after Sebastian Ransake picked Florida State. Dack locked down a starting spot the last two years, playing in 30 starts this season. He put up 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game in about 26 minutes. For his size, though, those rebound numbers left some wanting more. Fans in Boulder are feeling the hit as the program rebuilds in the portal. Dack was a three-star recruit back in the class of 2023, ranked 58th among PowerFords nationwide. Vanderbilt brings solid appeal with back-to-back NCAA tournament runs under Coach Mark Beignton. Plus, former Colorado assistant Rick Ray, who worked with Dack, now coaches their Nashville. Dack had won your left and picked the Commodores over offers from Oregon, Miami, and SMU.
