2:04Lord Hammer See. You came to call sinners Christ Hammer See. Lord Hammer See. You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. Lord Hammer See. Lord Hammer See. May Almighty God Hammer See, Honours, forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life. Let us pray. Pour your grace into our hearts. We pray, O Lord, that we may be constantly drawn away from unruly desires and obey by your own gift the heavenly teaching you give us. Through our Lord Jesus Christ you were Son who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. A reading from the book of the prophet, Hosea. Thus says the Lord. Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God,

3:06for you have stumbled because of your inequity. Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to him, take away all guilt, accept that which is good, and we will offer the fruit of our lips. A Syria shall not save us. We will not ride upon horses. We will say no more our God to the work of our hands. In you the orphan finds mercy. I will heal their disloyalty. I will love them freely. For my anger has turned from them. I will be like the dew to Israel. He shall blossom like the lily. He shall strike root like the forests of Lebanon. His shoots shall spread out. 4:07Their fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon. O Ephrem, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress. Your faithfulness comes from me. Those who are wise understand these things. Those who are discerning know them. For the ways of the Lord are right and the upright walk in them. But the transgressors stumble in them. 5:07I hear a voice I had not known. I believed your shoulder of the burden. Your hands were freed from the basket. In distress you called and I rescued you. I am the Lord your God in my voice. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Hear oh my people while I admonish you. Oh Israel, if you would but listen to me.

6:08I am the Lord your God in my voice. There shall be no strange God among you. You shall not bow to a foreign God. I am the Lord your God who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God in my voice. Praise to you Lord King of eternal glory.

7:09Praise to you Lord King of eternal glory. Repent says the Lord the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Praise to you Lord King of eternal glory. Praise to you Lord The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark. Glory to you, O Lord. One of the scribes came near and asked Jesus which commandment is the first of all. What is here, O Israel, the Lord our God,

8:10the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this. You shall love your neighbor as your self. There is no other commandment greater than these. Then the scribe said to him, you are right teacher. You have truly said that he is one. And besides him, there is no other. And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength and to love one's neighbor as one's self this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, you are not far from the kingdom of God.

9:12After that, no one dared to ask him any question. The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, O Lord Jesus Christ. A rabbi asked his disciples, why do people shout and scream at each other when they are angry and upset? A disciple said, because we lose our calm. But why do shout when the other person is just next to you as the rabbi? And the disciples gave many answers, but none satisfied the rabbi. And finally, he explained, when two people are angry at each other, their hearts are distanced a lot.

10:15And to cover that distance, they must shout so that they can hear each other. The anger they are, the louder they will have to shout in order to hear each other. And then the rabbi asked, what happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other, but they talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small. And the rabbi continued when they love each other even more or happens. They do not speak. They only whisper. And then they need not even whisper. They only look at each other and they communicate to each other.

11:17I believe in the last statement. I have seen women look at their husbands when they don't behave properly in the public or speak more than they should. I don't think it's always a look-up love, but the husbands always get the message. Now, in today's Gospel, in response to the question, what is the greatest commandment, Jesus gives not one, but two commandments, to love God with one's heart, mind, and soul, and to love one's neighbor as one's self. Recently, I came across a metaphor that is attributed to a sixth century monk and hermit by the name Dorothea Subgasa. It goes like this.

12:19Think of your wheel or a circle. In modern times, we can think of a bicycle wheel. Imagine the spokes of the wheel. As the spokes travel from the outside of the tire towards the hub in the center of the wheel, they necessarily get closer to one another. In this metaphor, the center of the wheel is God, and the spokes are each of us on our own path to God. It doesn't matter at what point on the circumference you start, as one continues the journey to the center where one must get closer and closer to other people on their own paths.

13:20Now, in his teachings and in his preachings, Jesus always emphasized on the love of God and on the love of neighbor, which are like the two sides of the same coin. And St. John, knowing this close connection, wrote in his first letter. If anyone says, I love God, but that's not love, his brother or sister, is a liar. A Catholic American journalist and the social activist Dorothea Day once wrote, I really only love God as much as I love the person I love the least. Now, Jesus met many people while his ministry, and he always treated them with love,

14:23and he always called them to treat others with love. Now, sisters and brothers, I often think about the choice I have each time I interact with someone, especially if I'm not in the greatest mood. I can choose to let my bad mood take over and come across as insensitive or contemptuous or I can work to overcome it to be more thoughtful and humble. These are choices that all of us have. Of course, the call to love our neighbors as ourselves is not always easy. We know that very well. And I have certainly not lived this out

15:23in all my interactions with others. Still striving towards virtue and attempting to live more in line with the teaching of Jesus each successive day is a journey and an integral part of our Christian life. And the Holy Season of Blend is an opportune time for each of us to accept our limitations, to accept our weaknesses, and to seek God's help and grace to live each day in more in line with the teachings of Jesus, namely loving God and loving our neighbors. So we pray for such grace today. And now let us offer our prayers to God with faith.

16:24For all those in our daily TV mass prayer intentions book we pray to the Lord. This month's community prayer is for fathers, grandfathers and protectors, that they may lead with wisdom and humility inspired by the quiet faith of Saint Joseph. We pray to the Lord. And for the gift of peace for our world in our families, in our communities. We pray to the Lord. 18:29It will become for us our spiritual drink. Blessed be God forever. Pray, sisters and brothers, that my sacrifice and viewers may be acceptable to God our Almighty Father. We're going to lower the steps of sacrifice. We're going to lower the steps of sacrifice. We're going to lower the steps of sacrifice. Look with favor, we pray, Lord, on the offerings we dedicate that they may be pleasing in your sight and always be saluted to refer us through Christ our Lord. Amen. The Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

19:30It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord Holy Father, Almighty and eternal God. For you have given your children a sacred time for the renewing and purifying of their hearts, that freed from disordered affections, they may so deal with the things of this passing world as to hold rather to the things that eternally endure. And so, with all the angels and saints, we praise you as without end to we acclaim. Jesus, listen to us.

20:38In the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest. You are indeed holy, O Lord, the found of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts we pray by sending down your spirit upon them like the dew fall so that they may become for us the body and the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time, He was betrayed and entered willingly into His Passion. He took bread and giving thanks, broke it, and He gave it to His disciples, saying, take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body which will be given up for you. In a similar way, when supper was handed,

21:44He took the chalice and once more giving thanks, He gave it to His disciples, saying, take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of a new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins, do this in memory of me. The mystery of faith. We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again. Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of His death and resurrection,

22:44we offer you, Lord, the bread of life, and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have, who is worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, you were church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo, our Pope, and Francis, our Bishop, and all the clergy and the people you have gathered. Remember also, all our brothers and sisters, who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection, and all who have died in your mercy, welcome them into the light of your faith, and have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with blessed Joseph, her spouse, with the blessed apostles, and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,

23:45we may merit to be coerced to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ. Through him and with him and in him, O God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, forever and ever. Amen. For the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching, we now dare to pray. Our Father, who watch in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as a decent heaven, give us a stay on daily prayer, and forgive us our trespasses.

24:45As we forgive those who trespass against us, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, and graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin, and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope, and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. The kingdom, the power, the glory, is not for ever. Lord, Jesus Christ, use that your apostles, peace I leave you, my peace I give you. Look not on ever since, but on the faith of your church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever. Amen. The peace of the Lord, be with you always. And with us. Let us offer to one another this sign of peace.

27:12Please join me now in this act of spiritual communion. May Jesus, I believe that you are present in this holy sacrament of the altar. I love you above all things, and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come spiritually into my soul, so that I may unite myself wholly to you, now and forever. Amen. Let us pray. May your strength be at work in us, O Lord, pervading our minds and bodies, that what we have received by participating in this sacrament may bring us the fullness of redemption through Christ our Lord.

28:15The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. May Almighty God bless you, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Go forth, the Mass is ended.
