To the first round of the NFL Draft, getting ready for round two. That's how close this thing is.

Every day at one o'clock, we go through a new mock draft on the internet to where there are millions. I mean, it's just, it's never hard to find one of these. To talk about today, here we're using Charles Davis's latest mock draft over to NFL.com. He has number one overall. I imagine we're going to see this on every one of these. Fernando Mendoza, the quarterback from Indiana to the Las Vegas Raiders. Number two, the Jet Selecting Arvel Reese, the edge rusher at a Ohio State number three. Now this one's a new one with the third pick in Charles Davis's mock draft. He has the Arizona Cardinals lighting tie Simpson, the quarterback out of Alabama. Now Simpson's going to be the second quarterback selected. That's pretty much the consensus. Some people who start to say he's close to Mendoza, maybe better, but I haven't seen any mock where he's this high. I mean, I haven't seen any except maybe in the teens or 20s. So Charles Davis says, Cardinal segment number three. Number four, the Titans like David Bailey, the edge rusher from Texas Tech. Number five, the New York Giants like Jeremiah Love running back out of Notre Dame. We go down to the Eagles and here we have a new name here at number 23.

The photo feels like Monroe Freeling offensive tackle junior out of Georgia. Freeling is a bit raw, but his potential is off the charts. According to Charles Davis, Hugh, what are you seeing with Monroe Freeling? Big dude, man, he's only been playing that position for like one year, Joe. But what the thing that they like about him is that he could still put on some size, you know, ran like a 4940, 670, what, 300 and what was it? 300 and 15 pounds. That he's still pretty thin for six seven. Yeah, yeah, for six seven. So they're looking at him to add a little bit of a little bit of size. They like his athleticism. That's the one thing that jumps out to me. They say it's very athletic and he can put on a little bit more weight. So you mentioned the athleticism. I'm looking at the, there's a thing called RAS relative athletic score. They rank all the prospects after the combine on, they kind of add all their scores together, right? Like the 40 and the bench and the shuttle and all that stuff they do. And they kind of add it together for one score and it's on a scale of one to ten. Monroe Freeling ranked second out of 1,548 offensive tackles to test that

athletically since 1987. Like basically this is a combine like freak. He broke all the scales for offensive tackles. So it's, look, if the Eagles are going to take an offensive line in the first round, I imagine they're going to prioritize traits you, you know, athleticism because the guy might not have to play right away. So you maybe you could kind of teach him. Yeah, teach him. I do wish Jeff Salam is still here for this. Yeah, because they make you feel a little bit better, because you know, you're stowling you and all that other good stuff. Yeah, I think isn't there a rumor that he might be around in the building or something? Well, that was with Lane said last week that he might still be around it. And I wasn't kind of specific with that meant. I don't know, as a mean he works out with them or works with him personally. I don't know what that means, but you know, every time we get an offensive line and one of those mocked drafts, I'm like, yeah, he could be good. I also do wish that was with him. But today is Monroe Freeling, the Georgia offensive tackle. First round number 23 to the Philadelphia Eagles. All right, let's go to Abdul who's in Germantown up on WIP Talking Fills. What's up, Abdul? What's up, Joe? What's up, Kyle? What's up you?

Who's going on, man? How you doing? What do you think it? Hey, man, I just want to give you this problem, man. I know y'all be hating on it. Can you do it on the speaker phone? No, no, no, we're not hating. Hey, hey, hey, okay, when that whole run went up, the first person I thought about, you dug it. Abdul, could you give him the props off the speaker phone or Bluetooth? I was all speak of my fault. Y'all feel the ****? He would. I fought. There we go. That sounds. You know how that works. Yeah, now we've got my fault, I'll see. But yeah, like, I just wanted to give you this possible to have, but I also, I'm concerned with Bryce. He just looked like Abdul is going to see it. To me, that's what I see. He's just swinging at anything. Well, Abdul, if, if there's, he took one game to catch a stretch. No, but it's fair. I mean, it's, it's amazing how do you spray these baseball sprays work? If there's seasons, Abdul, if there are seasons are similar, then I, then, um, I don't let's better play well because otherwise, we were in some big trouble with he sitting like, uh, yeah. I'm not going that far.

I'm just saying yesterday. Yeah, looks similar. I'll just one day say. Oh, no, it's cool. I've been listening, man. We're here. We're here for it. We, we welcome all criticism. He's been, it's only after one game. Well, of course, you're all here for it because he said the first thing you thought of when Boom's home run went. I was just saying, I mean, but this is what we do is fans. We overreact to the first game of the season. This is not a reaction though. This is months and has previous games. That's right. What have you done for me lately? You hit that whole run. That's one out of a me. He, he, he, he, on a world baseball class and you crapped on it the next day, Well, you know, you got it. I didn't, well, I didn't call him. And then Racine, you a liar. Yeah. Yeah, I'm on a roll. You really are burning bridges left and right. This guy is unbelievable. I do good phone call. We appreciate it. So, that was a vote for us to listen to you. How did it make you feel the first person he thought of when he with the home run was went to the home run was you that's rent free. He's the only one. I mean, a few people thought about that when that happens. I guarantee a lot of people say that's what we actually call rent free. That damn Douglas caught it again.

Well, that's good for the show. People are listening. They're absorbing what you say. They're probably saying what's wrong with this guy, but they definitely say that. That is not. I mean, that probably happens every time in this or so. What the hell is going? Well, I am excited to watch Boom now the next couple games because when Scott was on with this last hour, he said something I forgot about. Boom did this last opening day. Now, it wasn't home run, but he had to double in the gap to win the game against the nationals. Late in, I think might have an extra innings in DC, the opening day. They struck out a million times last year on opening day, but they end up winning the game because boom hit a double to the left center field gap. So one year ago, we did the weird off season. Maybe they didn't want him. How's he going to react? And then boom hits a double to win the game. And then he didn't hit all April after that. Right. Now we have this year home run helps them win the game after a weird off season. Here to your prediction of a home run off at the grime. I'm, I'm going to wait to see that, huh? Well, I would love to see him get off to a red hot start because there's one game. I think it's just a game. Just a thing. I really do. I hope you know, everything that he's dealing with in his personal life. I hope he doesn't allow that to

bleed over into baseball. And in baseball, be the one you want safe haze him right now. Because that sounds like that's probably all he got, you know, at this point. Do we think that Hugh is surpassed? I think is the number one boom guy around here? I mean, I never heard I say 30 home runs. I over the top. I didn't go through. Well, he did kind of laugh at me yesterday. Well, I mean, for you, yeah, he did kind of want for like, yeah. Do you want, do you want to steal the mantle of the biggest boom fan? He did get, you know, he did tell me let that AJ thing go, but I'm not. I'm here. Him and him and him and the bully spike that bully that he is. Yeah. They're, they're, I mean, they're probably trying to help you on the no, I don't believe it. I don't believe it. Not at all. Okay, Terrence in Springfield as I put up Terrence. Terrence. Hugh Joe Kyle. What's up, man? Terrence was going on. Guys, first of all, the leader of the team was clearly show yesterday. And that, and that leader is Kyle Swerver. I feel like

Bryce Harper is guys, he's going to decline, but that's not worrying about him. And his approach to the plate, it hasn't been good for the course of the last, I would say, year or so. My biggest, biggest thing I saw from yesterday, man, was Sanchez. This guy is a stud. I like to, I liked him ever since last year. And that's the reason we let Ranger go guys because they, they knew I feel like Sanchez is a better big game pitcher than Ranger was. Ranger started, he started a little downfall last year. And like those big games, he was giving up a lot of runs in some games. And I feel like Sanchez has more of a composure when he gets up to the plate. He don't get a rattle. It's not going to hit off him or a couple hits. He keeps his composure and he got some nasty filthy stuff, man. Guys, I'm going to start about Bryce Harper because he's not going to be the one carrying the team this year, guys. And I feel like he's trying too hard. He's worried about his attire. Well, colors, you're going to wear it to the game. These rivalry packs,

man, get your head in the game. Bryce, like, we need, like, the feeling he's like, I understand it's where we went off yesterday and bomb had a home run. But guys, we're still not going to do anything or accomplish our goal. Winning the world series of Bryce Harper don't turn it up. And he don't get out of his own way, guys. We need Bryce to accomplish our goal. Well, there's a line, Terrence. I mean, I don't think they named him to be a leaf, but he's got to be good at least. He got to be dead, Joe. Even if he's 90 percent, we need, we need some kind of impact from Bryce Harper, man. And guys, you guys are listening here a little bit, man. Because I'm telling you right now, man, you can jump into the gym, man. You got to listen to what you'll be saying sometimes. And I'm telling y'all, guys, I'm telling you, I don't know what the reason is, but I feel like the, the, it feels like you're playing on your face. It's a brand-mob you're playing on your face, guys. It might come in the beginning of this season and September, and Eddie Brownstone and his team, we're going to, we're going to, we're going to, we're going to hear from Eddie Brown that he was, he was playing fiddle to the fans, and he was playing fiddle to everybody that was going with his story that,

he was going to be on the town. Eddie might, he might stay here, guys. He might stay here. Well, there could be a way that they're, they don't get anything for him, or they can't get what they want. And they, they try to make this work. And Terrence, it could happen. I still doubt Terrence. Good phone call. But I mean, he imagine if AJ comes back training camp, press conference like, apologize to you, he was right the whole time. Oh, you had to do that. You had to apologize. I mean, I just, you know, I just vibrate on different frequency, man. Well, again, you know, I know the four horsemen. They don't pocket lives, you know, they, they, they breaking stories and everything. Well, one of those now eagles inside of you. Inside of the year. You're congratulations. Yeah, I'm not. But I, I go with my gut and my gut is telling me that right now I'm winning. This whole AJ thing. I'm winning. I don't think anyone's won yet. It's just the game isn't over. It's isn't it you win or you lose to the game. Well, I won because after the, you know, he was supposed to be traded doing the, the, the combo. I don't think it was supposed to be. It was a maybe it was possible. Not going to be. And this could be done. I remember one of one of the four horses and say, this could be done. It was next week. Yeah. He was going to hear from another horseman. Sure. We have more horsemen.

Is this new or is this? Yes. Okay. What do we got here? Albert Brewer with Rich Eyes. Okay. Let's, let's hear the latest on AJ. So our second latest update on AJ Brown on today's show. Albert Brewer, what do we got? What's reporting on, has there been a trade demand under the radar somehow kept under the radar and Philadelphia similar to Max Crosby in Vegas? I don't know if it's a demand. I like, it's certainly, I mean, I, I, I, AJ Brown's camp has certainly explored, you know, their options. And I think it's like one of those is the grass really greener scenarios, like looking around and seeing, okay, what's out there for us. You know, I, I don't know that it's a, I don't know that it's a demand. I do think like if they were going to go back through that door and, and reconcile this and, and try to go forward. I don't think that's impossible. Um, you know, one of Nick Sireoni's greatest strengths is a head coach is his ability to manage people. You know, and so I, I, I wouldn't put a pass the ego to, to say like Nick Sireoni can manage this.

You know, I, I do think the reason we're here is the relationship between the quarterback and the receiver. And AJ Brown's really well liked in that building in that locker room. And so, you know, I think that the, the, the relationship between AJ Brown and Jalen Hertz, like that would be, would have to be at the center of any sort of reconciliation where the, the, the Eagles are going forward, you know, with, with, with him is their number one receiver. Oh, there's a couple of things there. Um, I, I think the Eagles would be crazy to try to do this. Crazy to try to do this again for another year. So that's my first thought. If, if they actually try to roll it back and run it back and think it's going to be okay, I think they'd be crazy to do it. The second thing I'm wondering is, is the messaging changing again, because how he is, is between a rock and a hard place. And I don't mean the, the, the man, I mean, he doesn't have a market. Like, it's hard. It, like, where's the mark? Where are the teams lining up to trade for him?

So now it's like, wow, we might just keep him. If you don't give us something, it's, this is one of all situations where this was like a run array train from the beginning when it all happened. The reckless speculation, everybody talking about this, that and third, and, and there probably is some truth to, to the, to the reports that AJ's people probably looked around for some other team to trade with him and stuff like that. But I never felt like the Eagles really wanted to move off from AJ. I felt like, I felt like they were trying to presented by T-Mobile, the official wireless partner of Odyssey Sports. See for yourself at ringcentral.com. Ringcentral, voice of your business. Bidding on a lighting project, Graybar makes it easy from design to delivery to job site logistics. Smart, scalable, and job site ready. Yep, Graybar does that. Bridge that gap, trying to get AJ to buy back here. I think that he probably was running around talking about I don't want to be here and I hate it here or whatever, you know, by having a temper tantrum. There's like, yo bro, cool out. We'll see what we can do for you. And as we progress through this process, then all the other stuff start falling in place. They were the knee injury stuff start coming up at things in that nature. I really don't think they wanted to trade him from the gate. So I don't disagree with you on this. I don't think theoretically they left last he said we want him off the football team. I think this started with him and then they were just trying to manage the situation. It's a lot to put on Cereani. It's a, that is a lot to put to try to think he couldn't, he's been their coach together for four seasons and the, the relationship seems to be getting worse.

So like, it could be as good as he wants. He can't, you know, something a Humpty Dumpty falls down. You can't put him back together again. I mean, that relationship might just be over from a football perspective, between jail and an AJ. That's all, I think it's a lot to put on Cereani. The other thing now that that I think is I hear the whole thing is, is AJ going to continue to play soft with this? It feels like a soft trade request. I'd rather be somewhere else. I'd like to hear, I'd like to go explore my options. That's how he's going to get traded, I think. Well, that was, but I, I think it seems to me they've had some sort of agreement. Like, don't blow it up, AJ. Don't go public. Don't, it longer this last is AJ going to change the, the, the temperature of this thing. Because it's a pretty, it's a low boil right now. Is he going to turn the heat up and says, I want to out go on. Does he, does he get frustrated? See the right on the wall that maybe he's going to end up back here? Yes. Yes, that, that could be the next part of this. I think if he's here, he's going to make it work. That's just my gut feeling. Maybe. About this. I, I, I, I, I would agree. I would hope you're right.

I think he's going to make it work. I think he's going to make it work. Because he, at that point, he has no choice. I, I think that what he does, he could play, he could blow the playing out. Well, he could, but I don't think that's a good look for him and, you know, when that's seen on his chest. I agree with you. I know the main, I don't think that's the case. Like I've always said, from the, from the gate, I feel like this is going to be an accountability year for everybody. Because you got somebody coming in here that's not, he's not beholden to anybody on this squad. He's out here trying to make a name for himself. Because he was fast tracked to the OC job because nobody else wanted the job. Let's just call it for what it is. I don't care how they want to spend the story. Nobody else wanted this job. None of the coordinators that we were hiding behind one of this job. We went out and got three, we got a three-headed monster and three coordinators that we tried to get to, in order to fix this thing. Two and a half minions. Two and a half minions. That's what it is. So we, you're not, you're not coming in here playing favors to anybody in my opinion.

You can't because this offense was anemic last year. Whoever you want to blame it on, you know, people talk about, well, you're trying to, but I'm not blaming it on one person because like I've been saying since I've been sitting in the seat, it ain't about just one person, but it ain't about absolving one person either. So when he comes in, his job is, remember on Pope Fiction, the cleaner or what his name was, he coming in the cleaner situation. The wolf, right? The wolf. He coming in the clean after the situation. And if you need to be clean, he's going to clean you too. So that's how I look at this situation. He's not, he's not coming in here playing favors. He needs, he needs players, he needs people that's going to help him fix this offense. And if you can't do that for him, then he's going to move on. Who played him Harvey Kitell? I think it was. So Sean, Sean Magnon is Harvey Kitell? Yeah, he the wolf. He's coming in here to clean. And if you, if you're a part of the problem, then we're going to clean you too. Clean Magnon? Well, no, I'm saying it's, if I'm just saying hypothetically, if you're saying we just got him.

Yeah, we just, yeah. He's some continuity around here. Our Mark and Jersey's up. Hey, Mark. Hey, guys, what's going on? Hey, Mark, what's up today? We feeling, hey, I'm still sticking to my theory. He's running out of rope. People do not want to pay this guy $30 million. They watched him quit. His value is dropping by the day. This is what's going to happen. And it's his own fault. AJ has been showing his rear end for the last two years. And it's coming back to bite him. He's going to have to do a one year proof deal for like 13 mil. I bet you. This is what's going to happen. Nobody's going to pay that. He can't come back to the Eagles locker room. And it's going to be worse if it comes to June. Because the bills are probably going to drop the receiver. The Patriots are going to draft the receiver. I'm telling you, this guy is going to end up begging. It's going to be a one year deal. Prove it. Watch. So they're going to end up cutting him. Yep. You know, couldn't who?

That's his prediction. He's going to do a proof in here. Put some. Wait, man. Hold on. Not cutting, AJ. Mark, put some on it. No, no, let him have it. No, don't walk through it. Put some on it. Why would you going to put on it? Put some on it. Oh, no, you, this is what I used to be. What I used to be. No, no, no, no, no, I'm not struggling. This is what I believe is going to happen. Okay, so put some on it in. What you're going to look, look what's happening to you. Look at the leaf. No, let me tell you, ain't nobody cutting the receiver going to take that $40 million hit. They ain't going to do that. That's what I'm saying to put some on it. Okay, we'll put some on it. I won't wait, what, what, what? What did you want? What did you want? Will you tell me, make it easy on yourself. Put some on it. Look, man, I'm a state kind of guy. You have to come on. You have to get on the show and say, D-Gun was right the whole time. Oh, great. Now die. That is what we're going to do. There you go. I did. You know what? You know what? You're a genius. This is the deal. I know. If this happens, you bring me on the air and you bring that bum D-Gun on the air. Let me see that. Oh, man.

Okay. Let's raise the state. Raise the state. Oh, D-Gun. Ding, ding, ding. Wow. I love that. Twitter is a mess. You see what? He got a limbo. He killed it on that Bitcoin though. I think he was tweeting about food the other day. We didn't tweet about Bitcoin. He was messaging our show to vote for him for something too. Wow. The podcast? Yes. Is he hosted a podcast now? No. I think that's how he got it. And he got a limbo. Oh, boy. He got a limbo. You see it? Yeah, limbo. It's a Space McG exclude. It's killing all that crypto. He handled it all. Mark start talking. He's running scared. He's running scared. This guy. And he has nobody to blame, but himself. Mark, you're still ain't putting that on it. Would you put it on me? He wants stake, he says. I'm gonna take on DeGun if I'm right. I'm gonna take on DeGun if I'm right. Ok. You call it. I just want to. I don't think they're going to cut him, but we going try to make that. Here is Steve Rochance. They caught AJ Brown. Unless like. I don't find it. I'm wrong. I'm gonna be wrong. You know, whatever you want.

Dinner at La Back Fit. La Back Fit, yeah. Dinner at La Back Fit. All right, Mark. Good phone call. La Back Fit is in line. We're going to La Back Fit. In 80 minutes. I think we can rod D gun's Lambo to La Back Fit. I don't think... He got the truck, right? The truck ain't that B. It's a little car. I don't agree. There's zero percent they caught him. I don't think there's zero. Oh, it's zero. I don't think it's zero. I don't think it's 50. I don't think it's 50. I don't think it's 75. I don't think it's even 20. It's one at most. So let me paint a picture for you. Let's say Mark is right and there's no market. Let's say he's right. Let's say the Patriot Traffit receiver in the first round. The only team that's seemingly is in this. And we get to June and there's no market. There's no team that's willing to give them anything of note to trade for him. And he then blows this thing up. What are they going to do? Okay, you say if he... I don't think he blows up those jobs. But if that's... Okay, say it happened. So they have two choices. They could suspend him and do like the Kishon thing and just put make him sit on ice for a year or they could cut him. Kishon was on top. Well, if he wants to make it ugly, we can get ugly.

Well, all right. I'm not going to cut him. That would harm them. He says you want to do ugly. That would ultimately be letting AJ win. If... And I don't... I mean, take a huge ill. I think it's close to 5% than 20 or 50 or whatever. I don't think it's zero. If they ended up cutting him, this would be a huge Howie Roseman L. Because it would say they set the price of the way too high. That they had a player that was worth a two or a three. And they said a one and a two and the league said you're nuts. It's like putting a house that's worth 400,000 up for 900,000 and having never no one call. Well, it's another reason it's not happening for me. Because it's always not going to take that public. It would be an enormous L. It would be an enormous L to say I want to first a second round pick and then end up cutting the player. I don't think it happens either. It's... Boy, this thing just continues to twist and turn. And every day he's going to say he's right until it's over. I mean, I am. Well, not sure about that. 2-1-5-5-5-9-2. What are you winning at? Everything. Like... Confidence. So happy for you, man. You should be. Because I'm sitting here and every day.

You know, I drop these gyms and people say I'm crazy. Yep. Old and high. And I just say that. What happens to the ones that are crazy? Do we ignore them when the good ones happen? No. When is it happen? And I don't recall. Never happens. I mean, there's been a few. When have I been wrong? I don't recall. Phillies would score six runs a game a couple years ago. Six runs per day. I don't remember. I remember. That was close. You were not. You weren't. All right. Coming up. We'll get all your phone calls up here. You people.
