DAILY DEVOTION: PLEASING OUR GOD!! (1 Kings 13:1-10)

0:00Good morning and or not morning, but hello, happy Saturday, glory to God for He is good and His love and joy forever. My name is Pastor Josh Pan and you're in for a treat today as we go into the world of God today. And thank you for planting the seeds of the gospel and saving more souls by sharing this video. As you all know, we should just praise, praise God and put Him first. So if you type God is good, then that would be awesome, awesome, good start. So today we're looking at 1st Kings, chapter 13, verse 1 to 10, and talking about pleasing our Lord our God. And then let's get verse 1. Well, backstory. So as we are going through this journey, we see the kingdom of Israel being split into two. There's Gerberum, who's in charge of the northern tribes, 10 northern Israel. And then there is Rehoborm, who is King Solomon's son, who's in charge of Judah and Benjamin

1:00Knight, the two tribes. And then they were still devoted to God, even though the king was foolish, but he still allowed the priest, who were the Libertical priest, to stay within the Jerusalem, the temple, and worship God, and those who were devout, and worshiping God, they also fled from King Gerberum's reign, because he just raised up false gods and two calves and said, hey, there's stationed here, close to your home, so it's for convenience, you can just worship them and not have to go anywhere else. All right, so let's get this started, Chad, good to see you, glory to God, Chad Dion. Let me get this Chad out. Okay, first king, chapter 13, verse 1 to 10, and by the word of the Lord, a man sent God from Judah to Bethel, as Gerberum was standing by the altar to make an offering, Gerberum

2:03he made himself a priest, so then he was saying, I will offer sacrifices to God, only one only the priest that we're talking about, God should be it, which were the Libertical priest, and then verse 2, he cried out against the altar by the word of the Lord, and say, altar, altar, this is what the Lord says, a son named Josiah will be born into the house of David, and on you he will sacrifice the priest of the most high places, who will now make offerings here, and human bones will be burned on you. And the verse 3, the same day, the man of God gave a sign, this is the sign of the Lord has declared, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes on it will be poured out. When King Gerberum heard for the man of God cried out against the altar, Bethel, he stretched out his arms and his hand from the altar, and said, sees him, for the hand he stretched out towards the man, troubled up, so then he could not pull it back, and also the

3:08altar was split apart, and its ashes poured out according to the signs given by the man of God, by the word of the Lord. Hello Daniel, and then the King said to the man, his king, a sienna, madden, the king said to the man of God, come home with me, and have something to eat, and I will give you a gift. For the man of God answered the king, even if you were to give me half your possession, I would not go with you, nor would I eat bread or drink water here, for I was commanded by the word of the Lord, you must not eat bread, or drink water, or return by the way he came. So, he took another road, and did not return, the way he had come to Bethel. Wow, wow, this is an encounter between King Jeroboam of the northern kingdom of Israel, and then a prophet of God, and then King Jeroboam, it seemed like he was tricking the prophet

4:13of man, the man of God, to enter, come into his palace, but this man was wise and heard from the Lord, a command from God not to eat from the bread or the water, or it received any possession from King Jeroboam. So, he kindly declined by the name of Yahweh, and then went on his own way. So, we can see here, for God's glory, we please God, for God's glory, Jeroboam tries to appear to be a religious king, by offering sacrifices to the idols that he has created. However, he is confronted by a man who comes from Judah to serve a message from God, to convey a message from God, and that man prophesies that Josiah, who will one day destroy Jeroboam, or Jeroboam has established, and though Josiah will not be king for a while, signs have been given to confirm this word, like Jeroboam, we may at times be tempted to

5:18strive for our own glory, to lift ourselves up, and say, we don't need anything else, everything listens to us, to elevate ourselves, instead of letting God elevate us. And that's when our pride, our ego, takes over, and problems happen, and lo and behold, it will be destroyed one day. Everything will be lost one day, because all this thing is temporary, but God is eternal. God is the way. So when you engage in such idolatry, and however you forget that you are living for the glory of God and not your own, well, so when you engage in idolatry worshiping the false things of the world, you must remember, you must not forget that you are here for a purpose, for meaning, you are here to be built up, you are here to be transformed, you are here to produce fruit, and produce goodness and mercy of God through you, you are here to make

6:21a difference, and you are here to live for God's glory, and not for your own glory, you are not here to just build your castle, for your family, for your own generation, you are here to build the kingdom of God, in the name of Jesus, you are here to live your life according to the image of Christ, you are here to be the light of the world, to be the start of the earth, you are here to help the brokenhearted and to share the good news of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who brings true hope and true salvation and true peace and joy into our lives, and so may you continue to avoid sin and idolatry knowing that you are most glorious, you are best version of yourself, when you reflect the glory of God, in Jesus' name, amen. And number two, we please our God, with no compromises, after the man of God, the prophet, prays for Jeroboam's hand to be restored, he invited, he is invited, to the king's

7:26home for a meal and a gift, however, this man of God is not concerned with earthly rewards, so he declares it and he explains that even if you give me half of your kingdom and your possessions, I will not have anything from you because I have everything that is from God, and God has told me and commanded me not to eat and drink anything from the king and nor even go the same path that he came from, so it would not be an easy task for anyone to reject the king's invitation into such honor, such palace, such greatness, but the fellowship with Jeroboam could suggest approval of the king's idolatry, we must be wise to learn from the man of God, his bold stance when you face potential disobedience to God's command, you see, it's so easy to say, hey, he's going to feed me the biggest feast,

8:29he's going to throw me the biggest party, he's going to do so much good thing for me, and then it's easy to be led astray and distracted from the command and the way of the Lord, so that's why we must not compromise our relationship with God, he has given us good promises, good covenant, the best that you can ever live, but you must continue walking in his ways, you see, even small compromises like planting small seeds of evenness can lead into a way of sinners, and therefore you must not be concerned with the earthly rewards but be vigilant to remain faithful to God's word each and every day, to God's commands each and every day, and you have access to his word, you have the word of God, the Bible in your tablet, in your phone, in your hand, you have access to the Heavenly Father who loves

9:36you so much and cared for you and wants the best for you, and that's why he sent his son Jesus Christ from heaven to earth so that you may have a relationship with him from going from earth to heaven so that you may be restoring and reconciled into his presence. Now, let's get back into the passage before we get into our verses and we love getting into verses, so you don't want to miss out on this, you want to stay to the very end. So Jeroboam and his false religion, they were denounced by a special prophet sent by God, a strong condemnation of Jeroboam, could be expected. He was warned for his false religion, warned for his terrible demonstration of being a false prophet, warned for going and disobeying God, he was warned because there was going to be devastating effects upon the whole ten northern tribes of Israel. So, the details of God rebuking and condemnation were graphically described in the scripture

10:43of 1st Kings chapter 13 verse 1 to 3. So we can see here that just as Jeroboam he was standing at the altar, showing himself to be a religious person getting ready to present a false sacrifice, he was suddenly confronted by a young and unnamed prophet and know that he is called a man of God, which is the way prophets were sometimes addressed in the Old Testament, and this young prophet had come to Judah suggesting that there is no godly prophet that could be found in the Lord in the ten northern tribes, not a prophet who was wholeheartedly committed to the Lord who could be trusted with a God message that God had for them, with God's message of condemnation and judgment. He as a man of God, he was the one that showed the way, he was the one that spoke the word of God. And yet he identified no one as true believers of the one true God, the living God Yahweh

11:47during that time. So this prophecy was against the altar or a false worship of Jeroboam, Jeroboam, he was shining at the top of his voice and just like putting false worship to the false gods and idols. So then the young prophet cried out, oh, altar, altar, this is what the Lord has said and the altar and its priests would be destroyed by the future descendant of David named Josiah and know how every the very name of the future king was predicted in this passage as well as the destruction of Jeroboam's altar and false worship. But it would be around 300 years before Josiah would destroy the altar. So it would not join his time. So God works his promises even beyond the life of our own life time, even beyond the life of Abraham, Abraham saw Isaac and then he did not see his grand, grand, grand children,

12:48he did not see the seeds, multiply in all his descendants, multiply so much. So sometimes these prophecies of the Lord takes time for us, takes even not even our lifetime to be completed. However, it is going to come and be fulfilled no matter how long it takes because God is he is timeless because God is without time and that's why when I operate in my life, I live by faith and not by sight. I live in faith knowing that God has taken care of everything in my life to the very end till I am old in 2074 when I am 84 years old, he still got my past, he is still provided for me and he is still given me everything that I need so my security is found in the Lord. I know that he is going to bless you guys who keep appearing, who keep showing up and who keep seeking the Lord, he can bless you and he can build you up, he can transform

13:52you and he can give you the transcendence of his abundance, the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, self-control, he can give it to you, I see it by faith even though you can't see it physically but by faith I know that this is planting the seeds of the gospel and saving more souls and that's why I keep going and going and going even when my voice gives out even when I am tired, even when I am struggling, I say Lord, if it is your will then your will be done, not my will, when you increase and I decrease, I'm just a holy basil, I'm just a broken basil of the Lord trying to praise the Lord with all my words, with all my life each and every day and so that might look like a sacrifice, that consistency might be tough but I know for sure that the world will come back in full 10 times, 100 times, a thousand times more souls will be one, this soul will impact

14:58thousands of souls by the grace of God, I know, I know praise the Lord and if it doesn't but praise the Lord, I know for sure because it is given, Jesus has touched and impacted millions, millions of souls, maybe billions of souls already, he has, he actually impacted the whole world because he is the light, the ultimate light of the world, the ultimate soul of the earth, if he did not come and if he did not have believers and disciples then this world would be in chambers, it would be in a super dark, broken state at this moment but we are blessed in the name of Jesus, so praise the Lord. Now as this man of God was declaring what the Lord said, it was to prove that the event was about to take 300 years later of Josiah, the young prophet game, Joe Jeroboam assigned

16:00the altar was about to be split, immediately split apart and the ashes were poured out by the power of God himself and that is why we thank Jesus for letting his will to be done in our life, thank him for making a way, when there was no way, there is no more. Watch the end because we still have God in the verses and the verses are the best part and immediately the young prophet's prediction regarding the altar, the miraculous sign was seen and infuriated by the prophecy of the altar, its destruction, Jeroboam he stretched on his hand and ordered his guards to arrest this young prophet but when he did his hand was immediately paralyzed and withered and it tripled up and then but this was not the only sign of God's power, taking place at this moment, the altar was also split apart and the ashes point out just as the young prophet has predicted and God has demonstrated

17:03that he rejected the false worship of King Jeroboam and terrified Jeroboam, King Jeroboam pleaded the prophet for help, begging and praying for the Lord to heal his hand and showing a heart filled with compassion the prophet did just like the king requested and the Lord answered performing a third miracle, wow three miracles were performed in one sitting in ten verses, that's amazing, wow and then being thoroughly convinced that the prophet has truly been sent by God, King Jeroboam requested the young man to dine with him to a subpayment for having healed his hand and no doubt Jeroboam hoped to win the favor of the young prophet and perhaps convince him to join the royal court, whatever the case the young prophet, m-foot, m-foot, tic, he emphasized and he said no thank you and he refused the invitation, he will not dine with the king nor sub any payment, even if the king offered

18:04one half of his possession for the Lord was commanding the young man not to eat bread or drink water nor return the same way he had come, so this point was being made which is super striking, neither the prophet nor his message is for sale, I am not for sale, you cannot buy me with money, you cannot buy me with a label or with wealth, you cannot buy me up because no matter what I am going to preach the word of God to the very end, all of that is worthless, what is most important is our faithfulness to God and God himself in Jesus name and just why the Lord commanded the prophet to take a different way back to Judah is not stated and perhaps it was for protection in case Jeroboam decided to retaliate against the young priest and whatever the reason the young priest obeyed the instruction of the Lord and took another road back home, amen, so this lesson is for you which is strikingly clear, idolatry and false worship, do not please the Lord, God totally opposes idolatry

19:12and false worship, but idols are not just images made out of wood or gold or stone or metal or some other type of material, we can make an idol out of anything, for idols are anything that captures your heart more than God, what captures your heart more than God, is it your gaming, is it a drama, is it a relationship, is it wealth, is it level, is it materialistic things, you must not ignore God, you cannot forget God, you must focus your heart upon who gave all things, who provided all things, the giver of life, the giver of all things, God himself, don't worship the things, don't worship the gifts, worship the giver and that giver is our Lord, I God himself, put God first in your life, let him be the drive in your life, focus your heart on him and then other people will see it, husband, wife, children, family members, girlfriend, boyfriends, they will see it, but

20:15then people idolize these things over God which is a mistake, it could be houses, properties, cars, planes or any other possession, it could be wealth or success of making money or fame, job, profession or position, authority or power or control, you can be an athlete or actor, politician, just drive me for all these things and forget God, don't forget God, you can read these things but put God first in your life, you might even be a minister and forget what God has done, so there is a lot of temptations and destruction out there and God is calling you back into his presence, he is saying, I am your Lord, your God and I am your giver, I am the giver, don't worship my gifts, worship me, worship the Lord, your God who created you, who want a relationship with you, who related life down for you so that you may have a relationship with him so that you may have eternal life, for God to love the world that he said, he gave, is one and only God in Son, whoever shall believe

21:21in him shall not perish but have eternal life, so whatever captivates your heart, whatever the focus of your heart is, whatever gives to your heart, that person that thinks it becomes your God, your idol, so for that being or person to possess your heart, your primary interest and attention, you must stop, you must identify what those strongholds are and then you must delete it, you must tear it down, you must turn to Lord and ask God to rid you of these destruction and then he will answer, you seek first the kingdom of God in his righteousness and he will add all things unto you, if you don't, God, if you deny God, if you forget God, if you ignore God, listen to what the Lord God says about idolatry, now we get into the

22:22verses, my brothers and sisters, Acts chapter 12, verse 21, 2, 3, 23, on an appointed day hailed having put on his royal apparel took his seat on the restroom and began delivering a dress to them and the people crying out, the voice of God and not a man and immediately an angel struck him because he did not give God the glory and he was eaten by worms and died, oh no way, hailed tried to elevate him above God, and what happened? The angel of the Lord smote him, struck him down, just destroyed him because he did not give glory to God, you must give glory to God each and every day, all glory to God, oh Pastor Josh is sharing the message, thank you so much for the message, all glory to God, oh wow, I have

23:24a testimony and it's just how I was able to overcome these difficulties, but all glory to God, whenever you do something, whenever you receive praise, you can say all glory to God and you make it happen, you make it happen to give glory to God, when you give glory to God then you're going to God in thanksgiving, in gratitude with a perspective of him, be the one that gave you all things, that gave you the opportunity and gave you the ability to be where you are right now, he's the one that blesses you, that cares for you, that gives you so much more abundantly than you can ever imagine, so don't forget who gave you what you have done, and that has got himself, amen, for how are you God is good, amen, Roman chapter 81 verse 18, for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and unrighteousness, a man who suppressed the truth and in unrighteousness,

24:28for they exchange the truth of God, for a lie and worship and serve the creature rather than the creator who bless, who is blessed forever and amen, you see this clearly is talking about the wrath of God, the judgment of God from heaven goes against all ungodliness, unrighteousness, goes against evil and those who are unrighteous, because they exchange the truth into a lie, they worship and serve the creatures, the creatures like the animals, the things of the world rather than the creator, see these creatures are created by creator, God himself, but there worshiping the things that they can see, not worshiping God, and guess what happened? The wrath of God is upon them, don't worship the creature, worship the creator, don't worship the

25:33gift, worship the giver of the gifts. Verse John chapter 5 verse 28, I mean verse John chapter 5 verse 21 says, little children, guard yourselves from idols, little children, guard yourself from idols, the key word is to guard yourself from idols, guard, protect yourself, arm yourself, flee from the evil one, guard, protect, don't turn towards the idols, destroy the idols, sometimes the best defense is offense, you gotta strike it down, you gotta delete it, you gotta take action against it, to eradicate it out of your life, the idols out of your life, the wealth that's out of your life, the materialistic things that are trying to take your heart out of your life, again out of your life, the drug, the substance, the things out of your life, you gotta protect yourself, you gotta keep

26:39yourselves from idols, must repent and flee from it, then you can follow the Lord your God without destruction, amen, amen. Exodus chapter 20 verse 4, you shall not make yourself an idol or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on earth below or on the earth or the water underneath the earth hello lady and John Wick, oh god it's good, idols are powerless, idols cannot give you anything, idols cannot hear anything, idols cannot respond anything, they cannot, idols are fast, worthless and they cannot give you eternal life, only God can, only God gives you the eternal life that you need in order to live a life that is secured upon his love, salvation, only God can do it because

27:45Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except the real Him, and that's why we must trust in the Lord, believe that he came from heaven to earth to die for his sin, to be a living sacrifice, to be one who restored you, who vacuantiles you, who has a better promise for you, so you shall not make any idols or any likeness of what is in heaven on earth or in the deep seas, do the enemy chapter 11 verse 16 says take heed to yourself that your heart not be deceived and turn aside and serve other gods and worship them, beware that your heart are not deceived and that you do not turn away and serve the other gods and worship Him, be aware that your heart which God wants your heart, He is a God who wants your heart, He wants your full

28:53devotion, heed to yourself, be on God, take strong refuge in the Lord, in His Word, in prayer, in worship, in His community so that you may not be deceived and led astrayed and turn aside to serve other gods and worship them, because God is the only way, and when you see how God blesses King David and King Solomon for their faithfulness, especially King David, but then when they turn away from him, man, terrible things happen, you see division, you see false worship, false prophets, false idols, you see these things rise up, these seeds of the darkness rising up, and that's why we must, absolutely must root ourselves in the Lord in His righteousness, let Him prune us, let us teach us, let Him

29:54guide us in everything that we do, through the tough times, through the trial, tribulation, temptation, let Him be the one that we lean upon, not the things of the world, the things of the world were not satisfied, long term, for eternity, maybe just temporary, but no, that temporary release later goes away, and then the pain comes back tenfold, no good, and that's why we must stay rooted in the Lord, must not turn away from him, must serve the Lord I got, and not the idols of the world, and last of all I say chapter 42 verse 18 says, here you death, look you blind, that you may see the one true God who is Yahweh Himself, amen, wow, he's calling you back to him, he's saying here you death, look you blind,

31:02you see amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was blind, but no I'm bound, oh, but I sing wrong, but anyways, was blind, but now I see, I had to redeem myself, amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me, I once was blind, pardon me, sorry, anyways, great God, maybe that broke some people's ears, amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me, you guys know the lyrics, it's such an amazing amazing amazing song, amazing grace,

32:17How sweet that sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I'm found, was blind, but now I see. Was grace that taught this heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved? How precious did that grace appear? This is why I don't need worship. But hey, I love to worship the Lord with all my heart, and just love to sing praises to Him. And so, just don't stop worshiping Him. And you know, you can do better than me. That's why you have this talent. I am hearing impaired. I am grew up, not being able to hear, not being able to speak, not being able to have like all the tuned or the sound correction.

33:19That's my excuse, but I offered God whatever I can. Whatever I can, everything to God's glory, to God's kingdom, to God's presence. And so, let me pray a prayer of blessings over each and every one of you guys. Lord God, I thank you for everything you've done for us. And in Jesus' name, we come before you. For you are the King, the King, Lord of Lord, Alpha, and Omega, beginning and end. And Lord, I thank you for my brothers and sisters here, how we come together, and gather to worship you, and to hear your word, and to learn more about you. And Father God, I pray in Jesus' name that you will bless those, everyone here, under the sound of my voice, that you'll mat your power, your glory, your wisdom, understanding, knowledge, discernment, protection, and provision, and healing all come upon my brothers and sisters in Christ,

34:20that you guide them in all their life, that you lift them up from the darkness into your life, that you bring them into a better place, Lord God. Thank you for your promises, thank you for your love, thank you for your joy, and Lord, we long to live our life, that is committed to you, after your heart, and our life is yours. And this second prayer, for those who want to set Jesus at your Lord in Savior, pray this with me. Dear Lord, I am lost, I am blind, I'm deaf, I need you, I'm so broken inside, and I need a Savior in Jesus, you are that Savior, you are redeemer, you are reconciler, and you, I need you, so come into my life, as I commit my life a hundred percent to you. Let me commit to you, and let me walk in your ways, I commit to reading your Word, to praying to you, to building your kingdom, and commit my life to you, and thank you for saving me in Jesus, most holy name.

He said in Haggai chapter 2, verse 8, that silver is mine, gold is mine. He said, in Psalms, the cattle on a thousand hills is mine. God is the creator of heaven and earth. He is the creator of all things. He is the God of infinite wealth, infinite wisdom, infinite power. And He is a God who can meet your needs. He is the God who can help you achieve also financial breakthrough, financial freedom in the name of Jesus. So, I believe that when you root yourself in the Lord, when you follow in His ways and His words,

37:27He first gives you all that you need. Might not be in your own eyes, but in your own life, you will provide for you and protect you, I can see it. And for me too, I look to God, I broke, I was lost. But yet, now He has given me a too bad, too bad, in California, which cost like expensive. And so, He has provided everything I need. So, for you to be asking for financial breakthrough, I know it's possible and I know it will happen. It will come to pass when you are faithful to building His kingdom, faithful to plugging into His community, faithful to serving Him. So, Lord, I pray for financial freedom over my brothers and sisters in Christ over smiley that you would allow them to get out of debt

38:33and hate that, and reject that, that you would allow them to receive all the finance, all the funding, all the support that you give to them, and that you would guide them towards the right direction in how to budget, how to finance, how to invest their money wisely, and how to spend it and give to you. Generally, for it's a grace to be generous, and for the God, we depend on you. Because it is such a broken world financially, this US dollar, it's just toilet paper. I mean, 100 years later, it's going to be toilet paper. It's just going to be trash, just paper. It's worthless, but God, you give us something that is worth it. You'll give us something more than what is temporary. So, Lord, God, teach us, guide us, lead us, let us know what truly matters, and let us be able to be wise, be understanding, to be discerning of the way we spend our money, our finance in Jesus' most holy name. Amen.

39:51Oh, lady says, Amen. Thank you, Jesus. We trust in you. Rain. Hear no, Joseph. Amen. Glory to you, Jesus. Lady says, thank you, Jesus. Okay, first question. When you attempted to strive for your own glory, when are you tempted to strive for your own glory? Hmm, well, I know when I was gaming, I was striving to be a challenger in League of Legends. I only got to diamond three, but I was striving for my own glory. I wasn't striving for God's glory that time. Now, by the grace of God, I'm striving for God's glory, striving to make His name known, striving to plant the seeds of the gospel, the good news of Jesus, and striving to save more souls. That's my game. The name of the game is to save more souls, and that's exactly what we're here to do.

40:55To vaccinate our people into the Word of God, into the presence of God, to redeem them so that they don't feel worthless, feel like they are living in shame and regret all their life. No, they no longer have to. Now you live in the freedom of the Lord in Jesus' name. Now you've been forgiven. Now you've been given the strength to live from victory to victory because Jesus is victorious, over sin and death, and over all things in the earth. From victory to victory, from breakthrough to breakthrough. We go from needing breakthrough. A lot of people need breakthrough. We go from breakthrough to having breakthrough, receiving breakthrough, to carrying breakthrough. And that's why we carry breakthrough. When we are walking in the Lord, He helps us breakthrough. And that breakthrough is in Jesus' name. Jesus is the way, the truth, the life. He is the only way. But God, so love the world that He sent, is one and only God in Son, whoever shall believe in Him, shall not perish by having eternal life.

41:55And that perish means death, that second death, spiritual death. It's not talking about the physical death. It's talking about the spiritual death. And that spiritual death is separation of God, eternal separation of God. And that's why the devil, that's why the demons are going to eternal separation of God. No love, no glory, nothing down there. The lack of fire, it's burning and eternal destruction. Not somewhere you want to be. And those who sin deserve it. For all have sinned and following short of the glory of God. And the wages of sin, the penalty of sin, is death. And that's why He made a way for us when there is no way. We cannot work our way. We cannot build our way back to heaven. Only Jesus is the way. Only Jesus is the life. Only Jesus is the one that can set you free. And that's why we preach and we share the name of Jesus each and every day and not stop. Amen? So that's why we strive to glorify God. We strive to be a part of His story, His glory, His train, His passage,

43:09His plan, His will, for it is the best for us and mankind as well. He's for us and not against us. And if God is for us, then who can stand against us? No one can stand against us, but God is stronger, more powerful, even the devil, even the demons they flee from you in the name of Jesus. Second question. What can I motivate you? What can motivate you to live for God's glory alone? Well, number one, what really motivates me is knowing how God has been, He has been faithful in the past. And then He's faithful today and forever and more. If He's faithful in the past, surely He's faithful in the future. And He's been faithful not just in my life, but in the lives of so many people. And that's why your story, your testimony is so powerful, so crucial that you share it. Your life matters. And so God can use you no matter how much of a wreck you are right now, when you are transformed by the Lord of God, your story matters and it can transform others who are going through the exact same problem as you.

44:20So your story matters. You were a mess. And now you have a message of the Lord of God. You were tested, but now you have testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ, of how good, how awesome God is. And what motivates me to live for God's glory alone is that He's got great promises for me, the promise of heaven, the promise of eternal life, the promise of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, the promises of God keeps me going. We live upon the promises of God. We study the promise of God. We memorize the promise of God. We know that God has good promises for each and every one of you. Praise the Lord. Because Jesus, He set you free. He laid his life down for you already. So glory to God. And Cali always reminds me of the SPF that three things you must have in your life in order to be a whole person, spiritually, spiritually, relationship with God each and every day.

45:25P is physically. You must be physically healthy. And one day our health may get older, but that comes with life. But you're seeing in Jesus name, I know He can keep us healthy for a life long. He can. And then F is financially. And so if you are financially struggling for your physical health and spiritual health is strong, you don't have to worry too much because you know that you're going to keep pressing forward. And you're not giving up and that you will walk in the ways of Jesus and glorify Him and that He's got good plans and good promises for you. You don't give up and keep striving forward to glorify Him with your job, with your career, with your finance, with your everything that you have your time and energy and talent and your treasures. So praise the Lord. Praise the Lord for He is good. Okay, number three, how uncompromising are you in your obedience to God?

46:29Huh, you see, sometimes I would be editing my video, I would listen to a sermon and I would be playing a game all at one time. And then one can be distracting me from the other, but I'm a multitasker. So sometimes the game might just take my heart. Oh no, that's not good. So that's why I try to get all my needs and play to God each and every day, every morning, putting God first in my life. And then going to the Word of God each and every day, and coming online, sharing the Word of God with you, getting accountability, I need accountability. I cannot live my life alone, but you guys are here. You guys are here to keep me in check too in Jesus name. Amen. Kiana. Amen. God is good. So how uncompromising are you in your obedience to God? I used to just, I used to just game all day, every day.

47:34But by the grace of God, divine intervention. He rescued me. He broke that free me free from that. Amen. Praise the Lord. And now he's giving me more time, more energy. He's giving me more wisdom and more wealth and more relationship like my wife and family. He's giving me more than enough. Just because I decided to put aside the themes of the world and to follow him wholeheartedly to completely commit to him. Only that way will you be able to experience God completely in your life. You put him first in your life. And then number four, which commands do you find the most difficult to obey? Well, you see, back in the days, I do not know what commands that God had first and he noted that there's two greatest commandments in the Bible. That's of course the tank amendment. But then Jesus mentions two commandments. Number one, you love the Lord, your God, with all of your heart, all of your soul and all your might.

48:48Mind, your mind, your heart, your soul, God wants it all. Well, this is the first and greatest commandment of all. The next is to love your neighbors as yourself. That doesn't mean just loving them and not loving yourself. Love yourself as well. Take care of your body. Take care of your health. Take care of what God has given you. Cultivate it. Multiply it. Explode it. Let God work in your life. And that's why I want to encourage you to continue walking in his ways to keep fanning the flame for Jesus Christ within you. 49:50Because I'm thinking of, I mean, that's just something that's really deep on my heart. This purpose is to proclaim Jesus, planting the seeds of the gospel and saving more souls so that they will say, Jesus forever. Amen. Amen. Daniel says, Jesus forever. Power slay. Jesus forever. Praise the Lord. Amen. Glory to God. We want to put Jesus in our life forever and ever and ever. Amen. Jesus forever. So now I add, we're here to plant the seeds of the gospel and save more souls so that they may have Jesus forever. So that they may say, yes, to Jesus forever. How about that? I had the first two for a long time. The last one. So that they may say, yes, to Jesus forever. Jesus forever.

50:52Amen. Glory to God. Thank you for planting the seeds of the gospel and saving more souls so that they may say, yes, to Jesus forever in Jesus name. Amen. Glory to God for He is good. Amen. As you guys keep typing, Jesus forever. I'm going to do some pull-ups so that we can glorify God not only with our spiritual life, but also physical life. To glorify the Lord I got. The Congress just banned the New Testament. How do you feel about that? You cannot ban Jesus. You cannot ban the Lord I got. Just because the government banned Jesus, you cannot ban Jesus. Jesus still range forever and ever. Amen. For Jesus forever in my heart and forever will I speak His name? Will I forever will I declare Him as my Lord and Savior? You see, I'm not afraid of what the government is doing because I know that God is higher than the government. God is bigger than the government. God is stronger than the government.

51:57So nothing can stop God from growing, from building us up. Nothing, not even the government, not even the Congress, no president. You see, I used to be a missionary kid in China and in China, it's illegal for foreigners to talk to local people about Jesus. I would not allow to speak the name of Jesus, I would not allow to wear a cross or any Jesus t-shirt, for it was illegal. So therefore I lived there from 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th grade and then after I was living there for a while, then what happened? Well, we had underground church, we had a house church, then 23 policemen came into my house with 3 big cameras and arrested all the believers that were meeting there on Sunday and they were arrested and taken and integrated.

52:57My dad was arrested and interrogated and questioned about his faith and my dad declared Jesus to them, the Lord in my shepherd and I shall not want. He guides me, he leads me, his, his, he is my Lord and my Savior, he died on the cross for you and they want you to share the whole testimony and there my God was being a light, my dad was being a light to the soldiers, to the police who never heard the gospel before. So that maybe one of them might turn to God, this persecution doesn't stop God from spreading. China is one of the fastest growing Christian religion population within the whole world because God cannot be stopped. People literally, because they cannot have Bible verses in prison, there will be a slip of paper, a Bible verses that would be slipped to them and then they would just memorize it, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and then just like memorize it, evasion or just memorize it and they just operate differently, they don't take it for granted, they would stick on the wall and later the God would tear it down but it was still in here.

54:18The devil cannot take away what's in here, what's in here in your heart, in your mind, in your soul. Amen. So this is the testimony of how God is in control. God is the King of King, Lord of Lord, Alpha and Omega, nothing can stop them. He is our God. So there, wonderful testimony. Thank you for sharing. I ain't worried about what the Congress is doing. I ain't worried about what the state is doing. I know that he is Lord and King above it all and he is sovereign, he is victorious, nothing can stop him. He is in control. So I've not worried.
