I'm one of those people who will happily eat steak at eggs any time of the day.

Breakfast, dinner, it's technically midnight, but I'm still hungry. Doesn't matter, there's just something unbeatable about a good steak hitting a hot pan. That immediate sizzle, the smell filling the kitchen, and then topping it with a fried egg where the yolk is deep yellow and just barely runny, unreal, pure protein heaven. That's also why I love having Omaha steaks on hand. The steaks are incredibly tender, super flavorful, and cook evenly, whether I'm searing them on the stovetop or throwing them on the grill. It's that steakhouse quality bite at home. Omaha steaks has everything from their fan favorite filet mignon. Yes, the USDA certified tender one, to burgers, chicken, pork, seafood, and even fully cook comfort meals, like beef pot roast, or meat lovers lasagna. So I guess now I am a two-time tornado survivor. We went to the basement. Sirens were going off at our home. No, I'm telling you guys. I am shocked at the number of you. Show some respect. The number of you who did not go to your basement when the sirens went off. So T is, she's country.

Yeah. She's country before country was cool. Yeah. And it's like 1130 on, was it Friday night? And the sirens are going off. And we wake up and we turn on Channel 9. We're watching Busbee and he's like, we have a tornado warning for Johnson County. Shawnee. And, you know, I'm literally half asleep. And I go, do we go to the basement? Yes. Like I said, she was country before country was cool. And she goes, please. We go to the roof. And I go, you don't think we should go to the basement. She goes, are we what's this? And I go, no. And she goes, no, we're going to stay here. And we, we just, I am bed and watch the news. And disappointed in you. Why? I went to the basement. We survived one tornado.

We survived too. Johnny reluctantly and with an eye roll said, you want to go down? We'll go down. We grabbed the dog and went down. Because he's country. The sirens go off. I think we should go. Country people don't go to the basement. And you know what he said? He said, I think, baby, it's already to the east of us. He was looking at the radar, looking at Brian Busbee. He's like, this is already passed to the east of us. But where this thing touched down, very brief, it was an EF-0 is 55th and Rosehill, I believe, correct? So literally right here, Mission Rollin Park. Rosehill's that way, but yeah, you're kind of close. Yeah. It's going to get closer to his house, right? I'm telling you, I am really stunned at the number of you that did not go to your basement. We were out. Where were you? At 11.30 at night. Wow. We went to the new ricochet downtown to check it out. And it was awesome. And we were getting ready to, you know, try to figure out where we were going to go next. And then the tornado warning came in and we all kind of looked at each other like,

okay, well, we might as well go home. Yeah, we went home. Everything was fine. We did not go to the basement. I asked, you want to go to the basement? She's like, what do I look like? And I was downtown. So the fact that it ended near Westport, man, it was coming right at me. Did you watch the most recent episode of Love Story last night? I did not. I have not gone down that road. How many are we in? And why is everyone so fascinated with this? There's only two left. We watch mostly. Doesn't it well? I can tell you that. No, it does not. Jack Schlossberg, who is the grandson of former president, John F Kennedy and nephew of John F Kennedy Jr. is criticizing the new FX series Love Story, which is about some members of the Kennedy family, obviously, quoting here from Schlossberg. I just want people who do watch the show to watch it with one letter in their mind. And it's a capital F for fiction.

We sure about that. The series follows the romance of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Beset, who died in a 1999 small plane crash with Beset's sister. It has also come under fire from Daryl Hanna, who dated Kennedy in the 1990s for six years. Hanna calling the scripted dialogue appalling. You know why I think people are now saying we want to remind everybody this is fiction. She's going to sue and I think she has a claim. They didn't pretend that the blonde in there was some blonde that, you know, might have been somebody that was an actress, but we're not going to name her. We'll call her Susie. This is attorney Amida Zari from Zari Law. If you've been injured in an accident and feel like no one is fighting for you, it's time to fight back. Paul Zari Law at 888-828-3rd. Is there a chance, though, that this was an accurate representation of what went down, and people are just unhappy because they're now looking in the mirror on the big screen? I don't think you can just say anything you want about somebody, Sam, even if they are a quote-public figure. But if you're going to sue me for defamation, you have to prove that you didn't throw drug-fueled parties, because that was apparently part of the why she is upset. I never did drugs or threw a drug-fueled party, but they took some liberties there. I don't know if she did or did not, but you have to prove that what I did as a producer or as a writer. I think you have to prove it harms me, that you portrayed me that way, and there's no question it's harming her reputation. You have to prove that I acted in malice,

that I set out to hurt you, and that's a tall jump. Cocaine Den was a line used in the show, in reference to Daryl Hannah and her activities. Oh, my God. When is it over? I mean, people are... Well, there's two episodes left, so we wrapped up another one last night. It's a great series, but you have to prove that I set out as the producer or the writer or the director, that I set out to hurt you, that I use malice to hurt you. It's pretty malicious. Well, it is. You're right. They needed a villain, and she's it, right? Yeah. They got a villain. So, my run-to-not walk last week, really quick before we get to the news of the J, was that CSU, SISU, the best revenge movie. We were watched it.

Oh, Sam, because I've got an update. What did you think? Incredibly gruesome. Yes, I told, I warned you. You said it was violent. Oh, okay. I guess I missed that warning, because maybe about the night I sat down, we're like, oh, this will be a great, like, I don't know, spy movie, but not really sure. It's about revenge. Every other scene is like a kill bill level of war. Well, I'm sorry that the Nazi soldiers had to meet their maker, but they did. They, they met them rapidly. I gave this thing a 10th or a 10th. It is based on a character in lore in Finland, loosely based on a man who has said to have killed 500 Nazi soldiers and Russians during that conflict. Largely thought to be a fictional character. There was actually a man who had that many kills. Okay. So, it's loosely based, very loosely on that story. We watched the sequel last night. There's two of them. It's even better than the first one, Sam. No, now we're going to have to watch the sequel.

It's also called Sisu, which is a finish word that they say you can't really translate. That means you don't give up under any circumstances no matter what. Let's just translate it to mess around and find out. Yes, yes, yes. So, Sisu in Finnish stands for life force, but in extremes. Oh, this guy fulfilled that. We also took in the new Marshall. The Yellowstone spin-off, Marshall? Yeah, that was it. Oh, how is that? First episode, really good. Lot of nods to the series. Based on the trailer, we're a little bit worried about future episodes. They come out on Wednesdays, I think. That it's going to turn into your just cookie cutter run-of-the-mill crime show. We're worried about that. It's going to get away from the things that made Yellowstone so epic, which involved the herding, the ranching. Yeah, that's going to be an element of it. The corruption. Yeah, I think it's going to very quickly transition to law and order on the planes. Okay.

But first episode was worth it. We're excited to see where episode two takes us. 913-586-77998, Dana Wright. Sam Stevie III, my name is Scott Parks. You're on KMBZ.
