1:00April 24th from 8am to 4pm Newtown's Interstate 84 reconstruction, which began mid-March, ramps up with nightly closures from 8pm to 5am through. October 20th, 27, but they'll keep two lanes open. Streford gets lane tweaks on Interstate 95 between exits 32 and 33, for noise barrier fixes, mainly off peak from April. First to fourth, extending year long, with shoulder work days and up to two lanes closed overnight. Up in Torrenton, Route 8 bridges over Graham Village Road start metalizing April 8th to July 31st, dropping that road to one lane with, barriers in place. These projects aim to fix bridges, add climbing lanes and clear overgrowth, but whether could shift timelines, check the DOT site or app for real time, detours, and stay smooth on the roads.
