0:00European news, powered by AI, this is Europe News Today. I'm Cory with the story. A 40-year-old man in Kill Kill County down got arrested for attempted murder after shooting a crossbow at cops and waving a sword during a tense. Stand off. Police rolled up around 9 p.m. Sunday to the Moorfield Court area when folks called in about a guy in a balaclava, threatening people with a crossbow right on the street. He hold up in a house nearby, and for four hours he kept firing bolts that just missed officers while threatening them with the sword from inside. Cops fired plastic baton rounds and used the taser to get him out safely without anyone getting seriously hurt. Then took him into custody after a medical check. Superintendent Lynn Corbett praised the officers for staying cool under fire and thanked locals for their patience, now urging anyone with video or tips to hit up police as questioning ramps up on serious charges.
