Cristian Pache's Defensive Prowess, Offensive Potential

The 27-year-old outfielder signed a minor lead deal with the team in December and has shown elite defense skills. While he's proven himself in the field, the Metz plan to send him to Triple A Syracuse to boost his offense. Pache's defensive style draws from Andrew Jones, a hall of famer he idolized growing up. His dad was a big braise fan and showed him Jones videos as a kid. Pache signed with Atlanta back in 2015 and wore number 25 in the majors there during the 2021 season. He even got personal tips from Jones who weren't as an instructor for the braves after retiring. They built a strong bond, which made choosing that number an easy call for Pache. Jones heads to the hall of fame this summer for his stellar 17-year career, mostly in center with Atlanta. In 11 great-proot league games so far, Pache is batting 11 for 25, with 3 extra base hits.
