They've sent full teams to pro days at Texas and Texas A&M in their home state, with Texas Tech of next on Thursday. Earlier this week, Scouts hit Miami to check out edge rushers and defensive backs while running backs coaches evaluated prospects at Wake Forest and Nebraska. This wide search covers every position on the field. Head coach Brian Shonheimer says their all-season signings have strengthened the roster, letting them pick the best talent available instead of, filling gaps. Resigning key offensive players and adding a top pass rusher and secondary help have set them up nicely. That said, inside linebacker remains their biggest hole, with just a Marbian overshown, Shamar James, and Justin Barron holding down the spot right.
