Cowboys' Linebacker Need: Draft or Trade?

Instead, they've poured resources into edge rushers, the defense of line, and cornerbacks first. They did chase some linebackers hard during legal tampering, like trying to snag the Kobe Dean from the Eagles, but he picked the Raiders by a slim. Margin to link back up with his old Georgia crew. They've eyed vets like Bobby Wagner too, but nothing stuck so far. The secondary was a dumpster fire last year. Constant injuries, most passing yards allowed in the league, so no surprise they fixed that up top. Fans get it, but the linebacker spots still screens need, and free agency just didn't pan out with offers going elsewhere. Now, the plans shifting to the draft for a young premium pick, or pulling off a trade for an impact guy, maybe even both. Think back to last season when they waited post draft to grab George Pickens at Wide Receiver, a similar move could drop here.
