Competition Committee, he's juggling rule-change boats while prepping Dallas for the 2026 season with a draft just weeks away, their first two first round. Pick since 2008, the Cowboy snagged 10 outside players in free agency and trades, 8 on defense plus resigned some of their own. Jones says these moves checked major boxes for the roster build, setting a solid foundation early. They still need linebacker help after missing on free agents, but Jones isn't sweating it. He compared it to last year's wide receiver strategy, could draft one or trade later, since player hunts run 365 days a year.
