This is Corey with the story, here with your quick two-minute update from Derm news today. Holly Springs Police arrested Tamara Ross, 37, and her husband Christopher Ross, 41, from Raleigh on Wednesday. They face felony charges of child abuse and flipped serious injury and false imprisonment tied to an incident on January 1, 2023, involving their 11-year-old child. According to court documents, the couple allegedly put the child's feet in scalding hot water, causing severe burns and blisters. Christopher Ross also picked up an additional misdemeanor child abuse charge in this case. This isn't their first run-in with the law on these matters. Back in May 2025, they face charges from another incident on December 30, 2024, with a different 10-year-old child. Christopher was accused of verbally and physically assaulting the child for over an hour, while tomorrow was charged with failing to report the crime. The arrest highlight ongoing concerns about child safety in the home, with authorities

stepping in after these repeated allegations came to light. Both suspects are now held without bond at the Wake County Detention Center and are scheduled to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
