Industry experts at the K-doll Institute and John Stossel, they all agree that the housing crisis is driven by government restrictions on supply, not investors buying homes. We'll look at that. An article from the Daily Mail is entitled, Trump's counterintelligence official resigns and protest over Iran War. Reports that joke Kent in the office of the director of national intelligence, as resigned in opposition to the ongoing US military action against Iran, Kent submitted his resignation letter, citing strong moral and strategic objections to the escalation of strikes and the administration's decision to engage in what he called and quote unnecessary

4:03and dangerous war in quote, a letter, which was obtained by the Daily Mail warns that the conflict could lead to broader regional instability, long-term harm to US national security interest, and it might embolden adversaries like China and Russia. This is the first high-level resignation from within the intelligence community since the start of Operation Epic Fury. The resignation occurs as the US continues heavy airstrikes on Iranian targets with defense secretary Pete Hegseth confirming additional waves of attacks this week. Kent's departure, well, it has raised concerns within the intelligence community about growing internal dissent over the administration's Iran policy. We'll have more on this tonight on Redden House Live. Now we turn to an article from the Geller Report. It's entitled Huge Israel Eliminates Iranian Supreme National Security Savage Ali Laarjani.

5:06Who taunted Trump on the streets of Tehran just last week. The reports that the Israeli forces carried out a targeted airstrike on a safe house in Tehran, killing Ali Laarjani. He is the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and the regime's effective leader. The strike also killed the commander of Iran's besieged forces and reportedly eliminated about 300 besieged field officers. Ajani, he had publicly mocked President Trump just days earlier during a Quds daily rally in Tehran. That was on social media. He warned that quote, starting a war is easy, but it cannot be won with a few tweets in quote. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, he declared that both men quote, join the head of the annihilation program, Pomeini, in the depths of hell in quote. Well, foreign minister Gideon Saar, he noted there had been a $10 million bounty

6:07on Ajani's head. That quote, we did it for free in quote. In the Iranians reportedly celebrated the news of his death. An article from the Daily Mail is entitled, horrific gang rape torture or deal of Iranian nurses and medics subjected to brutal sex attacks in revenge for caring for wounded rioters. One victim begged surgeons to let her die. That's the long title and it reports that Iranian nurses and medical staff who treated wounded anti-regime protesters during the recent unrest have been subjected to systematic gang rape and torture by forces loyal to the Islamic Republic. The attacks are described as deliberate revenge by regime operatives against healthcare workers who provided care to demonstrators who are injured in clashes with security forces. Victims, including female nurses and doctors,

7:07were reportedly abducted, held in undisclosed locations, and subjected to repeated sexual assaults and physical torture. One female victim after enduring the ordeal was so traumatized that she begged surgeons to let her die rather than continue living with the injuries and the psychological damage. The article at the Daily Mail points out that the incidents, while they are part of a wider pattern of regime brutality against medical workers that are suspected of supporting protesters, with sources inside Iran confirming that the attacks were men to send a chilling message to anyone providing aid to opposition figures. Now we turn to an article from the National Interest. It's entitled When Drone Hit Data Centers reports that Iranian drone struck Amazon Web Services facilities in the UAE and Bahrain, and they're causing fires, power shutdowns, and significant damage.

8:10The strikes, they highlight data centers and energy infrastructure as key military targets in modern warfare. The article explains that hyper-scale facilities that are operated by AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, and Meta are highly vulnerable because of their concentration of value. Single low cost drone, well, it can disable millions of dollars in assets and cause cascading failures across the banking, logistics, healthcare, and retail sectors. Their dual use role supporting both civilian AI and military or intelligence operations, well, it places them in a legal gray area, a scene in reciprocal US and Israeli strikes on Iranian data centers that are linked to the IRGC. These warns that golf states they have huge investments in data centers and AI goals, and they are now being threatened by conflict volatility, noting that these facilities,

This bill is a house message that allows debate to begin with a simple majority vote, but it needs 60 votes to pass, making passage unlikely. Senate majority leader, John Thune, he promised a so-called robust debate lasting seven to 10 days with Republicans in control of amendments, including President Trump's proposal, the ban most mail-in ballots with you exceptions. You also is for preventing men from participating in women's sports and in gender affirming procedures for children. Apparently this has been added to the bill. Boone said quote, Democrats will be forced to defend their outrageous positions on these issues and explain to the American people why common sense and the Democratic Party have parted ways in quote. Harvard Poll shows that 71% support the bill.

12:2080% want non-citizens removed from voter roles. 60% call it common sense, and 58% say voter fraud exists. Former White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows criticized the process as disingenuous at best, saying the bill lacks political will, not public support, and he urged a talking filibuster instead. Boone put it on the floor, force the standing filibuster, save America, quote. An article from Zero Hedge is entitled Not Our War. Subtitled, allies shun Trump coalition against Iran. The reports that several European countries have refused to join President Trump's coalition against Iran. Openly, telling the administration that the conflict is not our war. Several European capitals, they have indicated that they will not take part in military operations

13:21or offer substantial logistical support. They cite concerns about escalation and domestic political repercussions. This hesitation, well, it arises as the US and Israel continue launching intense strikes on Iranian targets. An article from old Israel news is entitled Dormats. Subtitled, Israeli officials shocked at Europe's lack of support. It reports that Israeli officials, they're shocked and they're disappointed by the lack of support from European leaders who have told Trump the Iran conflict, as I said, is not their war. Some European nations, they're being privately labeled by Israeli officials as Dormats for their passive approach. The lack of support let leaves the US and Israel largely on their own, shoulder the burden of this campaign. We'll be right back after this short break.

And you'll get a push notification from us whenever we go live. An article from Christianity Today is entitled, City's Church isn't alone in experiencing hostility. It's by Megan Fowler. And she reports that North American churches are facing a rising wave of hostility, including arson, vandalism, armed attacks, and shootings. Family Research Council documented 415 incidents that affect 383 churches. That was just in 2024 alone. The FBI, they recorded 265 hate crimes against Christians compared to 1,380 against Jews.

19:49That was from January of 2025 to January, 2026. Examples include the January 2026 arson and vandalism at Winwood Free Will Baptist Church. That was in Oklahoma City. And the August 2025 fire bombing of St. Mark's Missionary Baptist Church, Influent Michigan. Other incidents, they involved racist graffiti at Union Trinity AME Church in Philadelphia. There was also smashed stained glass windows at the historic Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver. And then a shooting at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis. That killed two children and wounded 17. I was during a back to school mass. In Canada, there were 33 churches that were destroyed by fire from May 2021 to December 2023 with 24 confirmed as arson. Now it's time for our Nightly World View Report commentary.

20:50An article by Jay Parsons is entitled the end of the road for BTR and some institutional SFR. It reports that the build to rent, which is BTR, and institutional single family rental, which is SFR. That sector, they're facing significant challenges, including slowing home price growth, high interest rates, and market saturation, which is leading many institutional investors to reduce their involvement or even to just exit the market. The Revive 21st Century, the Road to Housing Act, well, that would essentially halt most BTR development and limit institutional SFR by prohibiting large investors from purchasing single family homes requiring sales after seven years, and implementing complex federal regulations. All of this is related to present Trump's idea of ending what he sees as too big of investments by institutions.

21:53Well, many are arguing, like John Stausel, the Cato Institute, and others, that this is not how you deal with this problem, housing, the price is thereof, in a free society. That in fact, reality is, it's not big, large institutional investors that are driving up the price of homes. It's actually government over regulation. Too much red tape. We turn to an article by the Cato Institute. It's entitled, Skate Goping Investors Won't Lower Home Prices. It reports that blaming large investors and corporations for the housing crisis is misguided. Institutional investors, folks, they only make up a small part of the single family home market. And yet, they have been net sellers for more than a decade. Did you catch that net sellers? The main cause of high prices, it's severe supply restrictions. That's driven by restrictive zoning laws, lengthy permitting processes, and local government regulations.

22:56And of course, limit new construction. So the problem isn't the entrepreneur, the investors, the capitalists, the corporations. It's government. I can turn to an article by John Stausel. It was entitled, politicians make things worse. In John reports, the politicians worse in the housing shortage by supporting rent control, strict regulations, inclusionary zoning, and of course, high taxes. Instead of addressing the main issue of limited housing supply. John Stausel argues that government interference while it often makes housing more costly and less accessible. Well, proposals to ban investors, while that only creates more problems without solving the core, well, issue. Folks, three different voices. An industry insider, a leading think tank, and a veteran journalist.

23:57John Stausel, they all agree on one thing. The housing crisis isn't caused by investors buying homes. That only makes up maybe two to five percent of home purchases from coast to coast. That's not the issue. Instead, the results, the high prices, that's the result of decades of government interference. And that's that government interference that restricts supply and of course, raises the cost. So when politicians blame Wall Street, and they push vans on investors, instead of fixing zoning and permitting and regulation, well, they're not helping families, they're hurting families. The solution is not more government control. It's removing government barriers. So the free market and do what it does best. Build homes that people can afford. So it's time we stop the political show.

24:57Start demanding real solutions that protect families instead of pushing those, trying to provide housing off into the ditch and blaming them for the problems.
