Coppernico Metals said it acquired an option on mineral concessions aggregating 600 hectares adjacent to its Tipicancha target at its Sombrero Project in Peru. Located in Peru, the company's Sombrero Project is a land package of approximately 57,000 hectares located in the north-western margins of the Andahuaylas-Yauri trend. It consists of a number of prospective exploration targets characterized by copper-gold skarn and porphyry systems and precious metal epithermal systems.
