Cooking from the Soul with Chris Hunter

Finding Freedom

About this episode

Today Chris Hunter joins the show. He was arrested in 2005 and convicted on drug conspiracy and gun charges. It was a non-violent crime. Chris decided to take the case to trial and was convicted and sentenced to 420 months in prison. He served 16 years and 6 months. He was released this past May because of the Cares Act. In prison Chris discovered the power of a strong work ethic. Since his release in the spring he’s parlayed that work ethic into an incredible opportunity to operate his own pop up restaurant only months removed from prison.
