0:00Hey, this is Strawberry and you're feeling out there today. I hope everybody is doing well because the news is booming today. I don't know what it is about this world. Y'all know the world is ugly, but gosh, I don't believe it. They're commission her. Selling drugs right from City Hall to your believers. I mean, who are they sending samples for in this world? I mean, who do you look up to? I mean yourself and you better because if you keep looking up to these politicians and all these other people that's up there in heart rank, woo, you are going to fall on your face. So let's get a listen out for what's going on in our world today. I mean, it's always something, but I mean, you got to keep up with it. Are you losing? Accused of dealing trucks for years while on the job authorities, alleged some of
1:01those deals even happened from his office at City Hall at B.C. Deaths McGell Martinez by his live and Allantown officials announced those charges. McGell, you have a district attorney. He says that they arrested Goldborg over in Bethlehem outside of a store. And then they brought him here to the Lehigh County jail in Allantown. They say that he was a dealing drug sometimes while working, including drugs like cocaine. Here's what they have to say. Coborgy was conducting drug transactions from November of 2023 through August of 2025. I'm ready for real action. Lehigh County Commissioner Zachary Coborgy arrested this morning accused of dealing drugs sometimes while working for the county. The investigation revealed that there was a cocaine sale by Coborgy at Northampton County Community College, while Coborgy was there attending a symposium presented by the Lehigh Valley Justice Institute called the Peace and Justice Symposium. Today, the Lehigh County District Attorney announced new charges against Coborgy for
2:04delivering controlled substances and for using his cell phone to make drug deals. This is the second time Coborgy's arrested. He was first arrested August of last year as part of a large-scale grand jury drug investigation. Through that investigation, officials were able to get warrants to search his phone. Officials shared some of the texts they found. Here's one from April 9th of last year where Coborgy asked him one to pick him up at City Hall and drive him to his house where he will grab the stuff for them. Officials saying in this transaction, he sold two eight balls of cocaine from $425. Another message from August appears to show him offering deals on cocaine. And in this exchange, Coborgy arranges for family members to meet dealers while he's at a commissioner meeting. It's the positive. It's the positive. The season like that, doing things like that. It's supposed to be better in the community and being for the people. Cut them on. You're not supposed to do that. What kind of example are you setting? The DA saying today, as with any other case, Coborgy is considered innocent until proven guilty, but he wants people to know no one is above the law. So I don't think Mr. Coborgy is a particular target because of his position in politics.
3:07He's being arrested because of the evidence shows that he appears to have been dealing in drugs for a long period of time. Every other Coborgy, he was arraigned earlier this morning and he was given a bail of $500,000 dollars straight. I'm Miguel Martinez-Valle and B.C. 10 News. So y'all think that he should be released, so y'all think that he should be free. I mean, he's been doing this for years. Y'all think that he should be locked up, prosecuted, or they should push this one under the rug. I think he should be locked up, I mean, all politics is going to be like Trump, just get away with it. We did it. So let's move on with life and do we find somebody that we don't like? Wow.
