Commanders Snag Styles, Williams; Day 3 Draft Picks Eyed

0:00On April 25th, Washington commanders snag two solid picks in the 2026 NFL draft so far. First up, Ohio State linebacker Sonny Stiles at the 7th overall spot. Fans waited a bit, but then Clemson wide receiver Antonio Williams came in at 71st overall. Now they head into day 3 with four more selections to build depth. General manager Adam Peters has room to hunt for those under the radar talents that could turn into stars. Fink guys like Jacori Kroski-Marit or Jordan Maggie, day 3, Stiles was stuck around and thrived. Peters can swing big here without much risk. The team's offensive line looks strong up front with Laramie Tunsell and Josh Connerley Jr. holding down the edges, but injuries happen and depth is. Finn behind them. No cornerbacks drafted yet either. Even though the secondary has some pieces, Peter seems comfy but might add anyway. Eyes are on Boston College, offensive tackle, Jew Bowery as a project guy who could slide into the 5th or 6th round for that backup role.
