Comic Relief Raises £30M for Poverty & Homelessness

0:00On March 21st, Comic Relief has revealed the final amount raised for its 2026 Red Nose Day event. The charity's big telethon pulled in a massive 30 million 40 thousand 40 pounds. That money will help fight poverty, homelessness, and other tough issues both in the UK and around the world. The live show happened on Friday, March 20th, at Solford's Media City, hosted by Davina McCall. It kicked off with Cavern Tate doing her hilarious nanned character, plus sketches poking fun at hits like the Traders. Comedians Joel Domet, Cavern Ryan, and Nick Muhammad kept the laughs coming all night. Fans and celebs showed huge support, with the crowd cheering as the totals climbed. Davina thanked everyone for their generosity right at the end. A video from co-founder, Sir Lenny Henry, also aired, praising the public's dedication over the charity's 41 years.
