Colts Trade Pittman, Sign Pierce

To make room under the salary cap, they traded away teammate Michael Pittman Jr. to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a late-round draft pick, Swap. Meanwhile, the Steelers planned to sign Pittman to a three-year deal worth $59 million once the trade goes through. This move clears the deck for Indianapolis, especially with quarterback Daniel Jones' free agency looming large next-off season. Colt's fans took the news hard, and nowhere was that clear than on the Pat McAfee show. Pittman spent six seasons with Indianapolis after they drafted him in the second round back in 2020. Across 95 games, he racked up 485 catches for 5,254 yards and 25 touchdowns. Including 80 receptions for 7,84 yards and 7 scores in his final year there.
