Colts Trade Pittman for Draft Picks

0:00On March 13th, the Indianapolis Colts pulled off a draft pick swap on Friday, sending wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and their 2026. 7th round pick, number 230 overall, to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In return, they picked up a 6th rounder at number 214 overall. This move gives the Colts a nicer spot in the middle rounds for the 2026 NFL draft. They now hold picks in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th rounds, plus 2 7th round selections. Pittman brought steady production during his time in Indy. In the 2025 season, the 27-year-old caught 80 passes for 784 yards and 7 touchdowns across. 17 gains, over 6 years with the Colts, starting as a second round pick in 2020, he totaled 485 receptions, 5,000 to 154 yards and 25 scores. With Pittman heading to Pittsburgh, the Colts are clearly building for the future through the draft while reshaping their receiving core.
