Colts Trade Block: Richardson & Moore Seeking New Homes

Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr., and Quarterback Kenny Moore II, are both on the trade block, as their reps shopped them around. General manager Chris Ballard confirmed it straight up. Richardson got the green light to seek a trade after the team locked in Daniel Jones as their top quarterback. Even when healthy, he hasn't meshed with coach Shane Stuykin, so both sides want a fresh start. Trading him could free up over $5 million for the Colts, with second-year guy Riley Leonard ready to back up Jones. Moore's been a Colt for nine seasons, a locker-room leader and Pro Bowl pick back in 2021. But he doesn't fit perfectly in the new defensive scheme, under coordinator Lu and Arumu. The team's eyeing younger talent like second-year corner Justin Wally, who showed promise before a knee injury last year. On the money side, moving more before June first saves the Colts over $7 million.
