Colts' Stars Rebounding from Injuries

0:00On April 20th, Colts kicker Spencer Schrader is back in form less than seven months after tearing his ACL and MCL in his right knee during week five. He's casually drilling field goals from over 50 yards now, even as the team's off-season workout program kicks off this week. General manager Chris Ballard says, quarterback Daniel Jones, who signed a two-year deal worth up to $100 million, tore his right, Achilles in week 14 at Jacksonville. Jones is throwing and moving well with everyone eyeing week one, though they'll let his body set the pace. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner had surgery for a herniated disc in his neck that knocked him out for seven of the final eight games last season. At 32 and in his contracts last year, he's starting plyometric drills and should hit full speed by training camp. Star-wide receiver Alec Pierce needs three months after ankle cleanup, so he's out until July. Standout draft picks cornerback Justin Wally and safety hunter Wooler got hurt in August practices.
