Colts Sign Safety Nasir Adderley

0:00On April 14, the Indianapolis Colts just beefed up their secondary by signing free agent safety Naseer Adderley on Tuesday. This 29-year-old was a second-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers back in the 2019 draft out of Delaware. Adderley balled out in his prime, starting 44 of 46 gains from year 2 to 4 of his career. He last hit the field in 2022 before stepping away in the 2023 offseason, but he announced his comeback plans this past, Februarying. Colts fans know the safety spots been a question mark, even after grabbing Jonathan Owens and YA Thomas to push for that strong safety role. Alongside holdovers, Adderley's mostly played free safety, so he slides right into the mix where depth is thin.
