Colts Sign Micheal Clemons for Pass Rush Boost

0:00On March 11th, the Indianapolis Colt is strengthening their pass rush by signing free agent defensive in Michael Clemens to a three-year deal worth, $17.5 million. That figure could reach $18.5 million with incentives. Clemens joins from the New York Jets, where he was a fourth-round pick in 2022. At 6 feet 5 inches and 270 pounds, he brings solid size to the line. For the past two seasons, he logged at least 575 snaps each year, generating 45 pressures in 6 stacks. He did struggle with missed tackles this past season though. His ability to rush from both outside and inside positions makes him a natural fit as a replacement for Taekwán Lewis, who's hitting free agency. This move helps shore up the Colt's defense as they gear up for the off season ahead.
