Colts Sign Jerry Tillery for Defensive Line Boost

0:00On March 17th, the Indianapolis Colts made a move on their defensive line this week by signing free agent defensive tackle, Jerry Tillery. Tillery stands six feet six inches tall and weighs 295 pounds. He entered the league as a first round pick, going 28th overall to the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2019 draft, where he spent his first three and a half seasons. After leaving the Chargers, he bounced around to the Raiders, Vikings, and most recently the Kansas City Chiefs, playing all 17 games for them. Last season with two and a half sacks and 20 tackles. He shares a college connection with current Colts guard, Quentin Nelson, as both played at Notre Dame from 2015 to 2017, which could help him settle in quickly.
