Colts Sign Arden Key for Pass Rush Boost

The Indianapolis Colts bolstered their defensive in-group by signing Arden Ki to a two-year

deal worth $20 million.

The veteran pass rusher joins from the Tennessee Titans after three seasons there, marking

his ninth year in the league since being a third-round pick.

By the 49ers in 2018, Ki brings consistent production to the mix, posting between 33

and 40 pressures over the last three seasons.

His best year came in 2022, with 51 pressures, and he showed solid run defense skills last

season, despite ranking mid-pack in pass, rush win rate.

For the Colts who came close to a strong finish last year before injuries hit, Ki offers

quick get-off speed to spark the pass rush.

He steps into a rotational spot right away, potentially replacing the role Samson Ebucomfield

while adding reliable depth off the bench.

That said, the team still lacks a top-tier partner for Youngstar Laya too, so Ki might

push for starts based on the upcoming draft and players.
