Colts Ranked Low in Draft Capital, Trades Expected

On April 1st, the Indianapolis Colts are sitting near the bottom in draft capital value for the 2026 NFL Draft, ranked 29th out, of 32 teams by CBS Sports Analyst Josh Edwards.

He crunched the numbers by assigning points to every pick across all rounds and totaling them up, giving the Colts just 202.4.

Three points worse only than the Falcons, Packers, and Broncos.

Without a first round selection, they only have two picks in the top 100, a total of seven overall, starting with round two pick.

47 and going down to a couple in round seven.

General manager Chris Ballard has dropped hints all offseason about trading down to stack up more picks, especially with roster gaps still staring.

Them in the face.

This year's deep draft class sets up perfectly for those moves, particularly early on, so expect the Colts to wheel and deal come draft night to build.
