Colts' Offseason Moves: Big Changes, Big Questions

0:00On March 31st, the Indianapolis Colts went all in this offseason after missing the playoffs for the 5th straight year. They added 15 new players through trades and free agency and re-signed nine of their own guys to shake things up. But they've got some big holes now, losing five starters including wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., defensive end quality pay, and linebacker. Zaire Franklin, with no direct replacements locked in yet. They grabbed quarterback Daniel Jones and wide receiver Alec Pierce on multi-year deals, plus a few others, like Arden Key and the Keem Davis-Gaether Bud. Spots on the offensive line and defense still look shaky. Fans are split, wondering if the teams actually better off than before all this movement. General manager Chris Ballard owned up to it this week, saying they made solid moves, but plenty more work is ahead. On defense, they chased Tray Hendrickson, but he went to Baltimore, leaving that end spot wide open. Linebacker Deft took a hit too, and the offensive line has injury risks behind the starters.
