Colts Lose Key Linemen, Ravens Gain Pinter

The Indianapolis Colts have lost two key offensive linemen to AFC rivals. First, right tackle, Braden Smith signed with the Houston Texans. Now, centering guard Danny Pinter is heading to the Baltimore Ravens on a deal worth up to $2.75 million. Pinter spent five seasons with the Colts after they drafted him in the fifth round out of Ball State in 2020. He may 10 starts and appeared in 77 games, mostly snapping at center the last two years. He proved versatile, filling in a guard or center whenever injuries hid. This leaves the Colts with shaky depth of front. Their only backup center now is Jimmy Morrissey, who was on the practice squad last season. Here backups combined for just the 155 snaps last year and the tackle reserves saw zero action.
