0:00It's March 4th, here's your NFL news in two minutes. The Indianapolis Colts are hosting linebacker Jackson Kowach for Miami of Ohio for one of their pre-draft 30 visits. This 6'4-232-pound defender had a breakout year in 2025 with 109 tackles, 10 tackles 4, loss, 5 sacks, and a pass break up over 14 games. Kowach started slow at Ohio State before transferring to Miami of Ohio where he only had 14 tackles from 2022 to 20. 24. But last season, he turned it around big time, earning strong grades from pro football focus in run defense, tackling, pass rush, and coverage. The Colts desperately need linebacker help heading into 2026. Veterans like Zaire Franklin struggled in coverage last year, ranking near the bottom league wide, while injuries sideline others and free agent. Additions fell short. Meanwhile, Kowach impressed at his pro day with a 4.6 440 yard dash, a 4.30 shuttle, and

With a deep linebacker class in this draft, the Colts figured to check out more prospects like this one. Kowach could fit right in, maybe even contributing on special teams right away.
