Colts Eyeing Devin Moore as Cornerback Need Emerges

This 6'3198-pound prospect says he's talked to all 32 teams in some way, including stops with the Lions, Cowboys, Raiders, Packers, and Steelers. Injuries kept him off the field a lot at Florida, where he only started 17 games over four years. Still, when healthy, he balled out with 64 tackles, five interceptions, eight passes broken up, two tackles for loss, one sack, and a forced fumble. He's a pure, press man corner, which lines up perfect with how the Colts mixed in man coverage at the 6th highest rate last season. Meanwhile, they just agreed to trade longtime slot guy Kenny Moore the second, turning cornerback into a real need. Their defensive backgroup stays solid even after that move, giving them flexibility. Moore ranks as the 105th best player on the bigboard, so he's not a top priority but worth eyeing.
