Colts Draft Seth McGowan: Physical Runner with a Past

0:00On April 28th, the Indianapolis Colts grab Kentucky running back Seth McGowan with their 237th overall pick, near the end of. The draft? To beef up their backfield depth? This 24-year-old prospect put up solid numbers in his last college season, rushing for 725 yards and 12 touchdowns, plus 126 receiving yards. He also scored the 7th best athletic mark among running backs at the NFL Combine. Back in April 2021, while at Oklahoma, McGowan got arrested for robbery and related charges, served three months in prison, and did a year on probation after pleading guilty to larceny. He got dismissed from the team, practiced at a small college, then broke out at Butler Community College, and New Mexico State, earning all conference. Honors with over 1200 yards from scrimmage.
