College Students Arrested for Highway Water Bottle Attack

One driver called 911 while telling their vehicle and officers pulled them over near the 3,900 block of Highway 77. The group includes 18-year-old Colton Shields, 19-year-old Samuel Hill, 18-year-old Jaden Eason, 20-year-old James White, and 19-year-old Raiden Sumner. It's unclear if they use plastic or metal bottles, but the reckless act, damaged vehicles, and put drivers at risk. Each faces three counts of third-degree criminal mischief and three counts of reckless endangerment. They were booked into Edward County Jail following the traffic stop. Investigators now link this joyride to similar recent incidents in the area. More charges could come as they dig deeper into possible connections.
