Collapsed Building in Oldham: Demolition Underway

Fire crews and council experts rushed in to lock down the area and check things out. A survey are called it stable for now, but pushed for quick fixes. Around 40 nearby residents got evacuated and King Street states shut a traffic for over a week, messing with daily commutes. The place house two tenants plus a mini-market, so folks in the neighborhood felt the shake-up hard. Now engineers are handling a tricky two-day tear-down right next to other properties, calling it a delicate job to avoid more trouble.
