Closer Care Services Slammed by CQC: Risks and Reforms

They couldn't trust if anyone really got it. No diabetes care plan for a client with a condition, and risk fixes that didn't match someone's diagnosis. Worst, the agency was caring for people with learning disabilities as their main need, even though their license banned it. Service users and families loved the staff though, said they were kind, engaging, and made folks laughter in tough times. The agency handles personal care at home for adults, including those with dementia or physical issues. At inspection time, they supported 16 people.

The family run agency owns up to the mess and jumped on fixes, better risk checks, med management, staff retraining, and outside experts auditing everything. They're holding strong, good marks for being caring and responsive, and they're grinding hard with the CQC to lock in those gains across the board, keeping care safe and solid for everyone.
