00Hey, this is Strawberry, how y'all feeling out there today? I hope everybody is doing well. If you're not doing well, let's find a way to get well, look well, and be well, of course. Today, I'm just going to frame my thought up with a comment, you know, from the show that I was listening to today. This Steve Harvey morning show again. I mean, it's mind blowing, you know, because listening to people give you things to think about. So, you know, on that scenario today, the Strawberry Letter again, I'm not the Strawberry Letter. I am the Strawberry Pirate Cancer on the Strawberry Letter, you know. It was talking about how the child lives with her two parents or his two parents or whatever, you know.
05And they're close, and they kind of like, you know, close where they can get high together, drink together, or whatever, you know, that, you know, you do as they close knit. When that scenario, I would say, it's all good that, you know, y'all close like that. But I'm that person, I think, you know, I think that parents shouldn't allow their children to be encouraged to drink, get high, or cuss. But, you know, everybody lives life differently, and as everybody lives life differently, this is the life that we choose to live. But, I mean, I'm close with my children where I still, I could call them my friend, but at the same time, like Steve Harvey said, you know, your friends are out there for when you're home, I'm the parent.
12So, I mean, there is rules that follow with that, you know, when, you know, I'm around my children, I'm their friend, I'm their mom, I'm their enemy. All those things wrapped up in one, but here's the thing, these two parents, they are having sexual relations with the door open, the windows open, and everything. That means they might well just not even be in the bedroom, they might well just sit in the front room and just do it in front of the child. I know that it's their home and this child is, you know, living there. And with that, in our home, our home is supposed to have respect all the way through, not just halfway. And, you know, a lot of parents, they feel so, because we have children, our children are slaves to do and feel what we want them to.
23And, in my opinion, I'm old school, I'm 62. I think we had no slavery and hate in our life. It's time to take those chains off and live freely. I mean, you're probably a couple that's young, you know, had children early. But in that scenario, even as a couple that's young or old or whatever, it doesn't matter, you have your child living with you. Even though you're close, I don't think you should have relationships where they can walk right into it. I mean, I'm close to my children and I still shut the door. It's called respect. I mean, so when you get in your room and you got your windows open because you want people to know that is happening or whatever reason it is,
28you can give your windows open, but get the child respect and at least close your door. They already tell you that whether they're upstairs or downstairs, they get here. So, I mean, they already know what you're doing. Close your door, let them hear it through the door. Why can't you come to picture inside of their head and look at face to face? I mean, it's like, mom's saying, here, this is what my pussy looks like. And dad's saying, this is what a dick looks like. No, that's not show and tell for you to put in front of your child's face whether they live there or don't live there with you. And whether they're in your home or not in your home, this is not the kind of show and tell that you represent in front of your child's face. A man's penis should be private all the way around, especially if it's maintained to another woman, whether it's his child, his cousin, his mom, anybody, it should be private.
42And a woman should be the same way, the meaning that if you had a son. That son should not grow up and say, oh, I see my mom's booty every day. No, whether they live in the same household and the opposite of yourself and friends, you actually sell. When your little girlfriends or boyfriends come over, are you laying in front of them having sex or are you like, I got a way to they leave before me and you could do something. Come on, y'all. Oh my god. Open your eyes. Friends don't do this even in front of each other unless they're having a swing on groups. And y'all know as parents, if your girlfriend or your boyfriend was sitting right there, you would not be getting naked in front of them. You would not be allowing them to hear your ooze and your eyes from pleasure.
43So, you know, this child, I want you to know, you're not in this alone because see, respect is still supposed to be all around the house, all around the house. And see, they should not be allowing you to get high or use for fantasy and the household respect. I don't care if they younger dumb or older ones, respect is supposed to be around the whole home. And children are frivolous. They learn what you teach them. So, basically, these parents are actually teaching this child that is all right to have sex anywhere you want. No, sex and, of course, the relationships, whatever it is, it's a private thing that you do with that person.
46It's not something, I mean, really, you act yourself. If you're that bold to just have the doors open, the windows open, and you know that child is up and down and stuff and whatever, it's not like you're not saying you're not allowed up on this floor. They're free to walk anywhere they want because to end your opinion, that's your friend. What would you do if your friend walked up and seen you and your man or your friend walked up and seen your man and your woman? You would be like, I'm sad. Like, what the hell are you doing up here? And why are you looking at my man or why are you looking at my woman? It would be a whole lot of questions that could not be answered because you're too frivolous. And this is what that child is asking to just close the door. They're not telling you to stop having sex. They're not telling you to stop having fun.
46They're not telling you to stop enjoying yourself. They just asking you to close the door. So if they're walking past, go to the bathroom. They do not have to see the private part or the ways or the positions that you all tied each other up in. And that's all that they're asking. And if that's too much, I mean, life must be blind. Yes, this child eventually has to move out if this is getting on the nerves. But even as a friend, you have to communicate. I mean, like I said, I'm close with my children. I'm very close with my children. And no, I have not stopped having intercourse relationships or whatever you want to call a sex, whatever. No, I haven't. But like my children are home during this time that I'm going to do this.
50I would say to them, I'll be back. I'm going upstairs and taking that. So, you know, after saying, I'm going to say I'm thinking that all these years, they're in their 30s now. They know I'm going up there to get my thing on. And guess what? My door is not open. Me telling them that I'm going upstairs to take a nap. That means that my door is closed for a reason. Do not knock on my door. Do not ask me for anything. I am taking a nap with my nap. It's over. You have my full attention. This is the warning that I'm taking a nap. This is my time that I am going to do whatever I want to do in my nap. And that's for those parents. Let your child know that this is what you're getting ready to do. I mean, if you're forward with them and say, I'm going to pair and fuck. Then tell them, I'm going to pair and fuck. That means that don't walk upstairs. Don't bother me. Go do something else in the house.
52Because this is getting ready to happen. No, but you're so fearless. It's like we're doing this walk pass and see it. And what they have. I mean, punks and child is a virgin and whatever. Their first experience of seeing the private part is their mom and dad. Wow, that's insane for sure. And like they said, you know, those children are, ooh, my parents are having sex. But yeah, this is how they got here. And this is how you got here. But you have to think about when you got here, it's a private thing. And that's why all the children go, ooh, my parents are having sex because it's so private. You don't know that they're still having sex at 92.
54I mean, it sounds funny, but it's not. And life is so, so, so real. That, I mean, we have to not be selfish in life. That's what I call it being selfish in life. I mean, parents was one's children. And children grow up to be parents or adults. So in that scenario, you have, you have. Hey, I lost my voice for a little bit. You know, that's that chronic stuff that's having it in my life. But as I was saying, parents were one's children. And children grow up to be parents or adults. So in that scenario, we have to teach and learn the way that we're supposed to learn.
56I mean, you sit down and you talk with your children. I mean, this, I mean, I always say I'm going to be totally different from how my parents was. But I never, I never had that where I walked in on the knocking boots or whatever you want to call it. I have walked in on my sister, but I never walked in on my parents. I mean, you see it, you're blind. And that's why you go, oh, my parents are still there. You don't know that your parents are doing this for a reason because they hide it from you. But if you're open with your children and you're telling them this, they are more likely to be open with you. I mean, the way things happen in the world, we can let sex be our teachers.
58We can let drama be our leaders. We have to take time and understand each other. That means everybody in that household is what we call human. So whether it's your house, you are the parent that has them living in that house. And too, they're able to move out. And whether you're doing this, they're made to move out fast or whatever. It's called their parent. Because you have to sit down and talk with your children and you have to make sure they understand life. For them to write this letter to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
59It must be something that is tearing them apart so you have to take this in consideration. This is something that's hurting this child. Child is confused. I don't know what to do. We are friends. I don't want to mess up my friendship. I don't want to lose my parents. They're kind of lost in the middle of what do I do. Steve says, yeah, you have to move out. Where are they going to go? Where they go? And they're not ready to go there. They're probably going to see something worse than what their parents are doing. Their parents need to, as their friend, what we call them, they need to sit down and talk to them like their parents. Because just like Steve said, we often have to separate the friendship and the parent.
02Meaning that every now and then we got to put on the suit that says, I'm the man. I'm the woman. I'm in charge. And see, even with my children, I tell them you are allowed to debate. But don't debate with me disrespectfully. I teach them that, you know, when you go out in the world, everybody is not going to agree with what it is that you say or do. And these are things that you teach your children. I mean, they're asking you one thing. Close your room door. I mean, it's not something pretty to walk past your parents or your children.
04Your child decides, oh, I'm going to have relationships. And I'm not going to close the door. Let's just do downstairs on the front room sofa. Mom and dad come downstairs. Are they going to be comfortable with this? Are they going to get hysterical? Are they going to get mad? Are they going to take this child out? Are they going to be tossing grinses? And no, anybody doesn't listen. Don't be like, well, it is their house. Yes. And as it is their house, it is that child's house too. Meaning that is her home. Her safe, her or his. See, I'm saying her, but her or his safe place to grow up and then venture into the world. You have to set boundaries.
05Listening to different things in life, you know, it makes me wonder how many parents are really taking the time to get married. Listening to different things in life, you know, it makes me wonder how many parents are really taking the time to get married. It makes me wonder how many parents are really taking the time to talk to their children. Listen to their children. And then I go right back to it. This is why children are depressed. This is why children attend suicide. This is why we lose so many lives because people are selfish. And I say this because that's what it is. You're being selfish. I mean, with all the rape and different things that's happening in the world, why would you want your child first experience to be mom and dad's private parts?
12Close the damn door and let them wonder what these sounds are for and that's life. Let them wonder and see that's still being their friends, they'll be in their parent, but they're not seeing something until you are ready for them to see it. See what you're doing, you're like, here it is. This is what it looked like when they get out there and somebody flash, you know, there's a lot of flashers out there, somebody flash it. They're not going to know normal from unnormal because they say, every day in my life, I wake up to my mom and dad. And if they're waking up to this every day, disrespectfully, when they go out into the world and somebody flash them, it's going to be a normal thing for them.
13And it's going to hurt them and it's going to hurt you because they're going to get hurt in the world because you're not being a parent that you're supposed to be, you're being their friend. And like I said, if your friend was over at your house, I guarantee you, you would not sit in the front room while they were down there and have sex. You would not go in the kitchen and have sex while they are there. That means that you will go somewhere private where they don't know or you will wait until they leave, give them the hint, it's time for you to go. Same scenario, if your child is that friend, think, you would not do this in front of your friends. Don't do it in front of your children, your children need to learn that this is not really life, high as supposed to be.
15Yeah, sex is something that we do often. And like I said, when I'm ready to have it, I'm telling them I want to take a nap. And if it's in the middle of the night and everybody is asleep, I still close my door. And me and my husband, we have a lock on our door. That means don't come in. If somebody's not getting at the door, the door is already closed, giving us time to get ourselves together, to go through the door, to ask that child, what is wrong and what is going on? I mean, taking an example, one knock at the door can mean the house is on fire. Somebody just broke in the back door. I'm having pains in my chest, but that's what.
18With them walking in or in you, with your clothes off in different positions. If somebody broke in their house, they're going to be two devastated to tell you, boom, boom, you're dead. If they are having pains in their chest, they're not going to tell you because that's what those pains are going to get worse. Because their blood pressure is going to elevate from seeing what they see. Give them that opportunity to breathe and knock on your door. And that way you can get your breath and they will catch their breath. And this is life. I'm not a doctor and I wouldn't say that I'm a perfect parent either. I mean, when my child, children, asked about sex, I told them.
20I didn't, you know, and I would say that I'm their friend, yeah. But I told them things. I have one son, two daughters. I talked to my son about what he needs to do and reference to being a man. I tell him what can happen if he decides to happen. Of course, I tell him what he's supposed to do if someone becomes pregnant. I introduced him to the playboy magazines. I told him who he's not supposed to touch and I let him know that no means no. And yes, it could be a possible maybe. So be careful with it. And I talked to my daughters and I tell them just because you are married or you are in a relationship, you don't have to give it to them. You are allowed to say no.
22When you are ready, you are ready. See, it's things in life you have to talk to your children about. You have to sit down and take the time and talk and stop. This is the show for you. No, it's not the show for you. I keep coming back to this. Would you go on your porch and have sex? See, you don't have no respect for yourself. What will be the worst thing that's going to happen? Would that man say he don't want you because it's not a thrill for your child to see? Or would you say you don't want him because your child ain't seen that he got a big dick? What is it that you want your child to see that they're not supposed to see? That is the question that you should ask yourself every day that you're up there having intercourse relationships or sex
26while this child is downstairs or I have to walk past your room because you don't take that moment to close the door. And this is probably how that child was born, not close to the door. But I'm sure as it is with the door open, it will probably be even more infatuated and beautiful with the door closed. Don't be that person that is my house, I do what I want. When you decided to have a child, what do you think? That when you had that child, that child was going to live at the hospital? That child's going to be at grandma's house? No, when you came home from the hospital, you brought this child home. Do you all hear that word?
26You brought this child home, that means that that child is growing up in this home. So therefore, this home is their home just as it is your home until otherwise, as long as it is still in motion to say that it is your home together as a family, close the door. And that's life. Sex is not something that you do in front of someone on purpose if you have respect for yourself. Now, a prostitute, they don't care if they do it in the street or in a car or wherever, they just want their money.
26Are you in pay money? A pet? He don't care where you do it at. Long as he gets his money. Are you being pet? So the thing is, find a way to close the door. Let that child walk around in his or her home knowing that they don't have to be in shock. I'll be devastated from what they see every day, which is their parents' private pieces. They probably put this in their mind so much they probably don't even want to look at their own piece or somebody else's piece. They probably wouldn't know what love is because it's abnormal to them.
30You have to make them understand that these things happen in life. And like I said, I'm not telling you to stop having relationships or having sex or in the course of whatever it is. I'm telling you to close your door or give this child a warning. This is gonna really happen. And as long as the child said, they go sit in a pool or something just to get away from it. But the windows are open so they can hear you out the window. Whatever the sound is. So I mean, with the warning, this child could have the opportunity to one not walk up there and be in shock too. They could put headphones on their ears because this is what the world does today.
33They walk around with headphones and the VR things on their eyes. You know what I'm saying? AI just got it going on. So I mean, give warnings. What I hear you, young, give warnings so that everybody can have opportunities to do what it is that they need to do. And that is the solution that I have in reference to my parents is having in a course with the door open, the windows open. It's practically right in my lap. So the doodles are all because life is what it is and life is what we make it. So let's make life acceptable.
