Clemson's Randall: NFL Draft Steal at RB?

On March 30, Clemson running back Adam Randall is turning heads as a day 3 prospect for the

2026 NFL draft, especially for the Denver Broncos.

This 6-foot 3-232-pound beast switched from wide receiver to running back last season

and broke out with 100.

68 carries for 814 yards, averaging 4.8 yards per rush, plus 10 touchdowns on the ground.

He also caught 36 passes for 254 yards and 3 more scores.

The Broncos lock down veteran J.K. Dobbins and have second-year back R.J. Harvey ready

to roll alongside Gillil McLaughlin and Tyler Beatty.

Still, with Dobbins' nagging injuries, they need depth and competition in that room,

making a guy like Randall a smart late-round ad to build for the future.

Fans and scouts love his size, strength and straight line speed.

He's a one-cut runner who lowers his shoulder, creates yards after contact, and shines

in the passing game thanks to his receiver roots.

His vision sharpened late in the year.

He's got kick-return chops, solid character with a master's degree, and even capped in

the team.

On the flip side, he's raw after just one year running back.

Struggles and pass protection has drop issues and prefers powering through defenders,

overjuking them in space.

NFL.com's Lance Eerlin calls him an intriguing mix of size, speed and hands with RB2 upside

in his own scheme, but he needs polish on rhythm and reeds.

In this may running back class, Randall's high ceiling could be a day-three steal if the

Broncos trust their coaching to develop him.

Bed on the traits, shore up the depth, and who knows, this former receiver might just

become their next big playmaker down the line.
