The group called him the soul behind their movement, full of warmth, loyalty, and quiet strength that touched everyone around him. He joined Digital Underground six years after founders Shock G, Chopmaster J, and Kenny K started it back in 1987. Mack dropped his first single with him, Whistup with the Love, which featured two-pack. That track came at a time when the group was helping launch two-pakes career. Fans hit social media hard with Tributes right after TMZ broke the news. Oakland natives and hip-hop heads remembered him as part of West Coast's history, sending love to the family and picturing him making beats with Shock G, up above. The Love poured in, showing his lasting spot in the culture. Shock G's death hit the group back in 2021, from an accidental overdose at age 57, so this loss feels heavy on top of that.
