Chiefs Trade McDuffie to Rams, Shifting Gears

In exchange, they got the 29th overall pick in this year's draft, plus a 5th round and 6th round selection in 2026, and a 3rd rounder in 2027. The Rams jumped at the chance to fix their struggling secondary, which struggled big time last season, including against the Seattle Seahawks. They held on to their 13th overall pick, which they picked up earlier from the Atlanta Falcons. Fans are buzzing about this move, with many seeing it as a huge boost for the Rams' Superbowl chances. For the Chiefs though, sending away their top corner has folks questioning if they're shifting toward a rebuild instead of chasing another title. Right now, the Rams are stacking their roster for a big push next season, especially with quarterback Matthew Stafford possibly retiring soon.
