00This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network. What's good boys and girls to throw an extra on Wednesday, the first of April. Hope you're well. We have women's Champions League games taking place as we speak. So let's have a look and see what's on tonight. Right now, Manchester United, one nill up away to bar and Munich. That is now three three on aggregate. So United have got that one level. We'll see if they can pull this out and advance to the Champions League semi-final. Chelsea will take on Arsenal at 8 p.m. Nill Nill in the first leg. We will see how that one fairs. Then tomorrow night, it is Barcelona round Madrid and that doesn't seem right. Was it Nill Nill in the first leg? No, Arsenal beat them three one. I knew there was something wrong.

03Arsenal beat Chelsea three one in the first leg. So Chelsea have a two-goal deficit to overcome there. Tomorrow night, it is Barcelona home to Real. Barcelona won the first leg six two in Madrid. So you'd fancy them to get through and then Leon home to Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg hold a one-million lead in that one. So yeah, that's where we stand with the Women's Champions League. Chelsea made a pre-tax loss of 26, sorry, 262.4 million pounds. That is the biggest pre-tax loss in Premier League history. Spire eclipsing the record set by Manchester City in 2011. 2011, City had a deficit of 197.5 million. Chelsea now 262 million for the 24-25 season. The club insists they remain compliant with

05financial regulations. There's absolutely no chance that that's true. They spent what 1.5 billion on players and they got a fine at the start of this season of 26.7 million for breaching the squad cost ratio rules and there to be monitored over a three-year period. Chelsea had a pre-tax loss of 155 million in 2023. That's the first year. 22, 23 is the first year under this new ownership. So just those two seasons alone, a 411 million loss. There is not a chance in hell that they're 23, 24 season, made 300 million in profit. There's no way they didn't breach the rules. There's absolutely no way they didn't breach the rules. You look back as well. 2021, they lost 155 million.

07Like they have to breach these rules multiple times in recent years. They just have to have. It's scandalous. United right up there as well with big losses in 2021, 22, and 23, 24, how they didn't breach the rules. I have no idea. I genuinely have no idea. They would have needed a profit of a 100 million in, sorry, of 200 million rather in 22, 23 and we know they didn't have that. So just keep an eye on Chelsea. I also saw a list today of the most agent fees paid last year from February of 25th to February 26th and Chelsea had over double anybody else at nearly 70 million. So let's just look at the players they signed.

10Let's look at the players they signed. Didn't sign anybody in, oh, they didn't sign, they signed in February of 2025. Mathis and Mughal, they sign him. He's the only player that comes in. He's coming from St. Athi and do you think there was big agent fees on that? I have doubts. 25, 26, Mike Penders, Darryl Ossegu, Mama Dussar, Kendri Piaz, Jarl Hatel, Esteveau. I don't think the agent fees, Ishtam was meant not going to be big agent fees on them. The Jarl Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Jarl Hatel, I don't see how they're paying so much in agent fees except that and I've said this for a while. Chelsea do deals with agents who control young players, particularly young players who've grown up poor and have gone into the debt and therefore servitude

13of their agents to convince them to go to Chelsea over other clubs and they're overpaying those agents. Go and look at what they paid Moises Caesado's agent after he took Moises Caesado to Chelsea. It's eight figures and the first one isn't a one for one player and that's just the above board numbers. Luminiumal condemns racist abuse aimed at each of yet horrible scenes in the Spain, Egypt game shame on the Spanish fans but can we really be surprised after what a lot of them have done to the Nishis Junior. Captain Donna rumour vows to restore Italy after heartbreak. I mean a mess really a mess. Default ready to earn the stripes with walking. I genuinely hope he does well. A man has been arrested on suspicion of racially abusing

14Gertrude of Sondal and the Newcastle fan or a twat or an absolute twat. Why YouTube team hashtag united want to go down. Hashtag united written through the football pyramid with an army of YouTube subscribers who are now seeking relegation. After earning three promotions to reach semi professional Ismian Premier League level. The team co-founded by YouTuber Spencer Oon and his brother Sebastian are asking to be demoted for the 2627 season. The club said competing at that level the 7th tier of English football and step three of the non league pyramid is financially unsustainable that governance is lacking and that the game is broken. A day after the statement has was released. Hashtag were beaten 7-0 by Dartford. A result to drop them into

18relegation places. In looking at the numbers we've seen in the most recent accounts clearly some tough decisions have been made by the owners said Karen McGuire the football finance expert. It is sort of a unique entity and I guess the people that set it up felt they don't have the financial resources to subsidize the club. I mean I think what Spencer Oon has done with Hashtag is incredible. It obviously started off as a bit of a gimmick but like they've done incredibly well. They really have done incredibly well but obviously now they just have to reassess and take stock of where they're going to go on the next couple of years. They kind of grew too fast I think is the biggest problem for them. Failed experiment is England get grim glenths of life for the cane beaten 1-0 by Japan. It was beautiful everybody should go and watch it. It was very enjoyable. Reading ready to get going again in promotion bids okay. There's Facebook Craig Bellamy and a

27big tantrum that he had. Tick to Yakuarez Yadiotic I'm delighted for Graham Potter. I really am delighted for Graham Potter. Who should make England squad? I mean I don't think the squad choice is all that hard. I think people are going to make it something more than it is. I don't think it's actually all that many big decisions. Let's see is that everything? Democratic Republic of Congo first world cup in 52 years. Turkey first world cup in 24 years since since the Revaldo incident back in 2002. Turkey finished. I want to say fourth at that world cup.

29I know they played in a semi-final. Rusty Rackbar would have been goalkeeper, the tournament wasn't the fact that Oliver can was absolutely incredible. Yeah they were finished third. They beat South Korea and finished third. Lost Brazil in the semi. The Revaldo incident by the corner flag. Everybody's probably seen the dozen times. Let's see what group are they in? They were in. Oh was it the group stage match that that happened or was it the semi-final? They played the rim Brazilians group. They played Brazil in their opening game. They went one they lost in the second half for an Aldo in the Revaldo squad. They drew a Costa Rica and then hammered China three nil finished second behind Brazil. Then in the round of 16 they beat Japan by a goal to nil to upset half of the hosts. Quarter finals they beat Senegal with a golden goal

40by Ilhan Manziz. semi-final they lose to Brazil and then third and fourth place playoff they upset the other half the hosts by beating South Korea three two Ilhan got two Hakan Suke who doesn't really exist anymore in the Turkish history books which is just such a shame. Yeah so they finished third at the last World Cup and they have a minute one sense which is kind of crazy. Anyway delighted for Turks. Really hope Kanozan finds form again before the end of the season because I want to see him goolar and came and yield us together. I really want to see those three together. Right I'll be back after this with with the gossip but before a goal let's just check in it is still one nil to Manchester United. Right welcome back. Manchester City are in front of Manchester United and the race to sign Elliott Anderson.

42Yeah I think quite clearly United has been handed a boost in the pursuit of Sandro Tonelli. Yeah I think Tonelli'd be good as long as they get a partner for him. There's a chance City get him as well though. City won two in midfield because Rodri's probably leaving and Bernardo's definitely leaving. Liverpool are keen on Francisco Consysse. No. United are among the clubs interested in Joe Gomes. I think Joe Gomes and believers are pairing that they get. I could be wrong but I think it is. United are favourites to sign Charlie Cresswell as first I've heard of it but it could be true. Bar and Munich are not interested in Phil Foden. I wouldn't rule out Phil Foden going to Bar and Munich. I really wouldn't. I think that's something that could happen. Josh Syrx is eager to stay at Manchester United because he believes he'll be given chances under Michael Carrick. There's no guarantee Carrick will be the manager. Arsenal Man City the favourites to sign Tina Liverpool. Yeah Liverpool is probably one of the ones that will leave Newcastle this summer

47him and Tanali. I think of the two that they'll sell. I wouldn't buy them because of the injury problems but he's a very good player. Virial want to sign Ishmael Assar this summer. He does feel like a Villarreal player to be fair. Nico Schladerbeck has the 90s close to agreeing in new contract offering hope to Real Madrid. Marcus Rashford is one of five players set to leave United with the Red Devils hoping to recoup 100 million in sales. Let's see if it names the other players. So Oh Nana is there. So 10 million say on him. Hoyland's 35 I think is the fee. That's 45. 26 on Rashford. They might not get that to make it 25. So what's that? That's 70. Zerksy probably 25 and Ugarath you probably get 20 for him. Yes they should get the 100 million. The problem is they spent 200 million on those players and then he bought forward them

52and all of them flopped. So that's not great. Barcelona are considering signing and they're a Shreldrup as an alternative to Marcus Rashford. He costs more than Rashford so I doubt it. Hugo Wekitike has climbed sharply up Real Madrid's wishes. Go away with this. All her nonsense. Right that's everything. I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good evening. Bye-bye.
