Chargers Release Becton, Dissly, Washington

The Los Angeles Chargers made some roster moves this week, releasing Guard Mecky Bechtin and Titan Will Disly on Wednesday. They also waived Tackle Savion Washington. All this comes just a week before the NFL's newly gear starts. Bechtin signed with the team last offseason and started 15 of 16 games. His exit creates a big gap at right guard for the bolts. That spot is not the only opening on the interior offensive line. Center Bradley Bozeman just retired, so they have even more work to do up front. Disly joined the Chargers in 2024 and started 11 of 26 games over the past two years. He finished with 63 catches for 594 yards in two touchdowns, including a career-best 50 receptions for 400, 81 yards last season. Washington came on board as an undrafted free agent last May, but spent his rookie year
