Chargers Host Tyler Biadasz for Center Position

The Los Angeles Chargers are kicking off their plans for the 2026 season by scouting top centers and their first big move is hosting. Free agent Tyler Biodaz. The former Washington commanders and Dallas Cowboys starter became available after Washington released him on February 26th. At 6 foot 4 and 3 16 pounds, he's a proven veteran with plenty of starts under his belt. Biodaz earned the Rhymington Award as the nation's top college center back in 2019. Dallas took him in the fourth round of the 2020 draft and he quickly stepped up, starting four games as a rookie. By 2022, he made the pro-bowl when he filled in for an injured star, showing he can handle high pressure. Over his six-year career, he started 84 of 96 games. This past season with Washington, pro football focus gave him a 70.7 overall grade, ranking

1:0011th among centers and marking his best. Year yet, his run blocking hit a career high 71.2 and he's only allowed 8 sacks total with zero quarterback hits in the last two seasons. That clean sheet on hits would be a big upgrade for the Chargers, who struggled with their previous center. Biodaz did miss time late last year with Enko and knee injuries, landing on injury reserve in week 17, but he's still just in his prime.
