Chainsaw Economics

About this episode

Chainsaw Economics

It has been two years since Javier Millei took charge of Argentina. Have his results been the devastating chaos some expected? Or is it an amazing improvement they managed to accomplish in only two years? We talk about what has changed and how his results are showing a large improvement in many categories, including inflation, economic growth, exports & trade, employment, and poverty level. We compare his results to the US as well as discuss other times in history that leaders have taken big actions. We also discuss the changes in gold and silver price as well as Saul Alinsky's 8 levels of control that transform a nation to communism. Too many countries are taking actions that will remove freedoms and send their citizens into poverty. While that makes it easier for governments to control people, it is not better for the people themselves. We can not change anything if we do not acknowledge that the problem exists. Join us as we talk about the good, the bad, and how we can make the world a better place!

00Welcome to the Real Power Family Radio Show, brought to you by Family Success Triangle. Where we talk about how we achieved financial freedom in two years, by the time we were 30. If we can do it, so can you. We will bring you the people who can help you achieve financial freedom, time freedom, and location freedom. Learn how we integrated our business, investing, and homeschooling into everyday life. Now, here is the Real Power Family, Eric, Lila, Devon, and Ethan. Welcome to the Real Power Family Radio Show, and today we have an incredibly interesting topic. Today, we have just me and my mom, Lila, and today, we're going to be talking about some incredible things happening in Argentina and plenty more. And for anyone wondering, yes, Dad and Ethan are fine, Ethan's flying, and Dad is taking pictures of Ethan's flying. So that isn't a joke. They're down in Florida, because it's warm there.

01Getting their license in a gyro plane, whatever that is. So I'm sure we'll get to have some fun with that when they get back, but mom, take it away where we're talking about today. Well, essentially, we've had a two-year experiment going on for libertarian chainsaw economics. I guess is a good way to put that. Yep. And everybody, if you would listen to the news when Javier Malay first started in Argentina, they really made it sound like he was going to be terrible for Argentina. I believe the Guardian even said, not only would it be devastating for Argentina, it will be, quote-unquote, unfortunate for the whole continent. I mean, they've really truly expected social chaos to ensue. But after two years, if you start looking at what's actually going on, very interesting to see what's truly happening in comparison to what people expected back then. Have you heard anything about this, Evan? Say that again. Have you heard anything about that, Evan? Yeah. I've heard quite a few things. I think the biggest one I've heard recently is that their inflation rate went from some

07crazy high number. What was it? Two or three hundred percent per year. It was three hundred percent per year. And it's dropped down to what? Around twenty-five percent per year, which is still a lot if you compare it to America, it is massively lower. It dropped by ninety percent. Yeah, it's down to thirty percent, which still sounds like a lot to those of us that live in the U.S., because obviously we're not up that high. I mean, if you want to look at what the comparison is for the U.S., well, I guess it depends on how you want to measure inflation. We should probably get into that just a little bit, because the official inflation rate for twenty-twenty-five was around three percent. But we've already know the CPI is named that for a reason. Yes. And in my experience, it's frequently around double what they announced, so even at around six percent, so just double the number they have, which isn't necessarily a hundred percent accurate, but does seem to be closer than their number.

08Well, and what I like is there's a place called Shadow Stats, and they track it the way it originally was tracked, so understand that inflation is supposed to measure how to maintain a standard of living. And in the early 1990s, the government claimed the measurement was overstating inflation. Now, their logic behind that is, well, somebody could just eat a hamburger instead of eating a steak. Now, my question is, if this is supposed to be about maintaining a standard of living, is that maintaining it, or is it going down because now you have to substitute a less expensive item instead of the more expensive item? So I think we've really had an issue as far as the way they're measuring it is not truly inflation. Yes. There are a lot of times skewing things, usually in their favor because if they say inflation is high or not only does that make the people in power look bad, it also means they have

11to pay out more in things like social security. Yes. So if you look at what John Williams is saying for 2025, Shadow Stats thinks inflation's more like 10%, and I don't know about everybody listening. But those of us that do the grocery shopping, I believe more than the 10%, than I do the 3%. Well, my guess of 6% was at least closer then. Definitely. Definitely. Yep. And throughout a lot of the time, if you do look at the, because Shadow Stats has their, you know, what the official CPI is and then they've got what they've measured. And sometimes it really is just double. It just happens to be 2025 is not quite that, it was more than double. So it's interesting to hear, you know, how they measure all these things. There was a great video on YouTube from John Williams that you can listen to where he's talking about this. So those of you that like to do your own research, that's one place to go. And that's always good to be able to see more of where we can get good information.

11But let's get back to Argentina, mom. What else has been happening in that country? What else has changed, improved, or gotten worse, because we've got to look at both sides if there is that. What else has changed in Argentina since Xavier Malay took over? Let's look at their, their economy, their economy prior to him had been shrinking at an average of 1.6. Now it's growing at 5.3% year over year, which is a 4.5 overall growth for the first seven quarters of Malay's presidency. So their economy is doing much better than it was previously. So it went from shrinking and getting worse to now is getting significantly better. It's growing percent a year is pretty good as decent. Yeah. It seems like it's pretty good. I'm not necessarily an economist and I'm sure if there are any economists listening, you can tell me how good that actually is.

11But it's definitely a significant improvement. Definitely. Now we can also look at their, their trade. Trade is also a big thing, right? Right. And they had had a 2.5 billion trade surplus as of November of 2025. It's four times higher than the market expectations survey that was published by the, the Banco Centro de la Republic of Argentina. I am definitely not pronouncing that correctly, but you get the point. Yeah, I don't, I don't speak Spanish or have any of the ability to say any of that properly either. So we'll go with mom that was close enough for me. Yeah, essentially it means exports are at an all time high. Yes. That, that really is huge for making the economy better, keeping people in a better standard of living. All these things are incredibly important. But what that tells me mom is that people in that country are producing more, meaning they're able to and willing to produce more and or possibly also consume less.

20But at the same time, it seems like from everything I'm hearing, the standard of living is getting better in that country. Absolutely. Isn't that really what we all want? We want our country to have citizens that they're happy, they have a good standard of living, you know, they're productive so that they're not depressed all the time. I think we've had a problem here in the US where there is such a high level of depression, but so many people are not producing anything anymore. And I think there is a pride in a sense of, you know, the world needs me when you are out producing something when you are making the world a better place. Yes. So for a lot of people, the how much do I produce is really a contributing factor to that. And I don't think that's the only thing leading to the record high levels and numbers for like depression in the US, among everything else. There's a lot of other things that go into that social media and the news being too large contributing factors in my own opinion.

22Beyond that whole actually producing something for yourself building a better life for yourself, that certainly that's how a lot of people value themselves is just how much value do I produce. And that's not like that may not be entirely perfect, but to some extent, it's what you can summarize with numbers. Well, I think I get a satisfaction from knowing that I've accomplished something. We had some big storms here in the area. And so at our management company, we had a lot of emergency calls coming in. And for a while, like all the contractors and those of us in the office were kind of running around trying to make sure everything got done the way it needed to. And it was difficult because roads weren't travelable, things hadn't been plowed. You know, there was just a lot of issues going on. So it sounds like it would have been a stressful and terrible event. But at the end of the day, when you know you got it all accomplished and everything got fixed and everybody was happy, like at the end of the day, you feel really good about that.

23I think people miss out on that a little bit. If they're not doing something, yeah, you got to get out of your comfort zone just a little bit and it makes your life so much better. But yeah, we got a record breaking snow storm, so much for global warming. And yet you got through it. And that gave you the pride of even I could make it through this, even though it was a lot harder. And that's something very good. And then in Argentina, speaking of production, they added, like they took out 60,000 government jobs. So isn't that terrible, mom? The 60,000 people were out of a job. But what happened after that? I would imagine they hired more, not for the government, but in other areas if they're producing more. Yes, the private sector added supposedly 238,000 jobs in the last 12 months. That is incredible. And we can keep talking about this right after this breaks. I am Ethan Wollwin from The Real Power Family.

26My book The Treehouse is a story about a group of teenagers looking for a place to their own with some scrap wood and a lot of help from their friends and neighbors. They built a treehouse, relationships, and a dream that turned into a business. Get a copy of The Treehouse by Ethan Wollwin on Amazon today. And don't forget to listen to my family on The Real Power Family Radio Show on the Brush Wood Media Network weekdays at 7am Eastern time. Welcome back to The Real Power Family Radio Show. Today we're discussing, well, essentially what happens when we have a chainsaw economics in action. We're looking at Argentina where Javier Malay has, he started out doing some pretty crazy things and the media was very against him. But Devon, I think it's turning out pretty well. What do you think? I'd say from everything we're hearing and everything we talked about in the first segment of this show that it's getting a lot better there, which begs the question, why are we doing

26this elsewhere? I mean, we have Argentina here where it's doing just so much better now that they eliminated so much of the government. Sure, some people are saying, oh no, this guy is falling. It's going to be a disaster, but that's not how it's turning out. And then, mom, the United States where we live wasn't it. Like, we made a country more free than just about anywhere else on Earth, and partially because of that, we have grown to be one of the most powerful countries on Earth. And by one of the most, I mean, the most powerful country on Earth, even if some of the things we do with that or do for that is not necessarily what I would agree with. Well, Hofier Malay did declare that he's not going to stop until Argentina is the country with the most freedom in the world, so we've got some competition, and I'm very excited about that. So am I. I mean, don't give me your own. I love the United States, but if Argentina ends up being more free than the U.S., and you know, with certain rights protected so that even when he's no longer in office, like,

31that would not be a bad place to look at for some people. Well, I think competition is always good. Yes. People always ask me, like, when one of our competitive property management companies started in our area, we told them what phone system we used, what computer system we were using, and somebody looked at me like, why are you giving away all these secrets to them? You know, aren't you worried they'll be your competition, but competition's good. It may, if they're doing so well that it makes me have to improve what I'm doing, that means I end up doing well, which will encourage them to do better, which will encourage me to do better. It's this positive feedback cycle that's just, it gets great results for everybody, and that makes the world better overall. Yeah. We need more competition in the world in all areas. It shouldn't just be monopolized out there, or a fancy term I learned in college, oligopolis, which is just a few companies on top, like how only three companies pretty much control

31the majority of the internet. They own most of the servers for the entire internet. Oh, yeah. I do not know about it. Amazon's one of them. So when that went, their servers went down for a few hours, a little while ago, a couple of months I want to say. Yeah. A lot of stuff went down with it, but, you know, that's what happens when you get too few up top. Again, you get these little startups if they can do well, like the competition can be good. I think we should be always encouraging that, and we should never be scared of that. Exactly. And yeah, that actually sums it up perfectly. Do you want to hear more about Javier Millet and what's going on in Argentina? Absolutely. So let's look at poverty rate, because isn't that in the end what we want to look at is how good are the actual citizens doing? Do you know that when he started, poverty rate was actually at 52.9%, that means over half of their people were in poverty.

32That's a bad stat. Yeah, that's terrible. So you got to look at where are we now, and it's amazing what has happened. Poverty has reached 27.5% in the third quarter of 2025. That's a huge decrease. I think what he's doing is spectacular. That's incredible. And I do, just for the sake of our listeners, how about you tell us what are a lot of the things that he's been doing that have likely caused this change? Well, I think part of it comes down to the policies that he wants less government. And when you get less government, believe it or not, things actually get better. And I know that the government doesn't want you to know that, doesn't want you to think that. But the neighbors, they back that up, not only in Argentina, but we could go over other countries that have had that same situation. I want to keep the poverty level down, but I want to, I think that's happening in part because if companies are more successful and are producing more, will they need the

32labor, which then gives somebody a job, which makes them more productive, which also provides for their family. And it can lift everybody up. Exactly. You help more people that way. And Argentina has been doing that a lot. They're cutting government, not with a lot of scalpel, but with a chainsaw, which may like, it's Argentina's trademark chainsaw, which honestly, I like that approach to government. We should do more of that in the US. It would make things better off. I agree. And you would have a trillion dollar military budget if we took a chainsaw to it. Well, and I'm sure the media, if they're looking at that stat at all, will still say that that's a terrible poverty level, you know, 27.5%. And I get it. If you look at here in the US, you know, we're more like between 10 and 11%. Now during the great financial crisis, it did get as high as 15%. So we've hit some bad moments too. But we pulled back. So I think that's good for the US as well. But seeing what you can do in just two years in Argentina, yeah, I mean, you think about

36he's only been in there for two years. Imagine what he's going to do in another two or I don't actually know how long that term is for him as president, but with what he's done so far for the country, I see that or I would guess that he's going to get elected in another term for another term or for a while, at least, at least as long as there's no meddling in the elections or anything. Which I'm not sure how safe the elections are and of course he made it in the first time. So who knows? Yeah, let's see what happens. Then again, they may just have underestimated him the first time. That's when it's the only president in the past few election cycles in the US where something similar may have happened. Definitely. But I think if things are really getting this good with all these kinds of numbers coming out, I would imagine the citizens are a lot happier now than how they started a couple of years ago. So I think he's going to find a lot of people behind him and wanting him to stay where

38he is because of what he's accomplished. Exactly. And what he's doing that cutting and the result is led to has made his, the people that live in that country. It's made their lives so much better. It's incredible and it kind of makes you think, well, if making it more free, having less government, like the more we do of that, the better people's lives get. And on the other side, more and more government, like the more government we have, the less freedom we have, the worse our lives get. Why don't we just go towards less and less government, maybe not zero government, but like dramatically reduced from where we're at. Maybe that would make our lives a lot better. And yet, it's not what we see. It's not what the, let's just say the news portrays, nor a lot of other people. And you got to wonder why that is, mom, any thoughts? Oh, sure, because the traditional media has been controlled by big, big companies and

40the government. When you've got a lot of pressure, I mean, we all saw it during COVID where people were getting essentially thrown off social media because of, they didn't want certain things coming out. The government was controlling that, even though the social media company is supposed to be a separate entity. So there's just too much pressure that comes from the government that causes other things to go on. And the government wants to get bigger and bigger. It doesn't want to get smaller. It doesn't want to spend less. There isn't, I really had hoped when Trump got in, we would start seeing some of this, you know, chainsaw cutting that we would start really reducing what we're spending. You know, we would get back to more fiscal responsibility. And we're not, not anywhere near what we need to. So the chain saw is not an effect here in the US. No, no. We needed a much larger chance on the US, but, and I was hoping Doge would be that. Yes. Doge did not do that. I mean, they, they brought the scalpel to it and they cut out a little bit of the fat,

45and we needed the chainsaw, all right, take off the entire leg. We don't need that branch. We don't need that department. We don't need that agency, whatever it is, like how many people actually think we need an entire, not one entire agency, but several entire agencies dedicated to getting information and surveillance on as many people as possible. The CIA, the FBI, the DHS, I'm now on a watch list because I'm saying this over the internet. We were probably on it anyway, Devon. But how many different agencies do we need for very similar purposes? How much of that do you actually think is a problem? And how much less of a problem would we have, like just CIA, assuming all the spy movies are real? How much of that would be an actual problem if we didn't have that or a major military or something, like if we didn't have that, what would be the purpose of sending spies

49to our country? Let's just make everything in an open book here. You can read the senator's emails, all right? Make everything clear, you are a public servant. You will be a public, the downside going into office is everything is public about you, all right? Let's make it that way. No need to have spies. Everything's out there already. You can get to it. Go ahead. See where there's fraud. Tell everybody, and then maybe we can get it fixed faster. What do you think of that, mom? I agree with you all heartedly, Devon, and we can talk more about all of that right after this break. Have you ever loved one benefacted by inflation? Yes. We have the product for you. Hard assets that hold their value, like the real power family still around, are available at American Gold Exchange. You can visit American Gold Exchange at AMERgold.com or by calling 1-800-613-9323. Welcome back to the real power family radio show where I was just busy getting myself on

53this mini watch list as possible in a five minute period. But you know what, I had some good ideas. True, you did. You absolutely did. I think what Javier is doing in Argentina is amazing. And I look at the history of things that have gone on around the world and less government seems to have always been better. Hong Kong is a great example. I know at some point we had talked about this in a different show. But John James Calperwath, when he started with Hong Kong, it was just this rock where there wasn't a lot going on. The people were very poor. They were pretty much starving. And I think that was around 1945, if I remember appropriately. But he came with thoughts and ideas that he got from Adam Smith, who wrote the wealth of nations. So he believed in non-interventionism. He wanted his little government as possible. And so when he started working with Hong Kong, that was his goal.

53He was the leader there. And he was essentially trying to keep it very free, not tax burdened. Their tax burden never exceeded 14% of their GDP. Their tax code was only 300 pages long. I don't know if you've ever seen our tax code currently, but it's obscene. It's probably, I'm pretty sure it's taller than me if you just put papers. It would be taller than me. And that is, no one's going to understand that. I agree wholeheartedly. But what he did with Hong Kong turned it into a big port, lots of trading, imports exports. It became a very financially wealthy section of the world. And looking at it from where it started to where it ended, like it was amazing. And I think we should be learning from what Argentina is doing now, what they did in Hong Kong. And yet the media is not going to tell you about that because that's not what the government

55wants. The government's definitely not going to tell you they're not going to give you the tools you need to, you know, take down their plans. No, of course not. So we've got to be learning about this and looking at it, like we've talked about capitalism before and the difference between that and communism. And when you've got, you know, the government essentially in charge of everything, like you get in something like communism, then you end up with all sorts of other problems. I think the free is what is going to get us a better life, a better world and freedom for everyone. What do you think, Devon? You're absolutely right. And if you need examples, just look at North and South Korea right now. You can literally, if you look anytime, it's night there on a lot of different mountain places. You can see the difference between the two because one of them has all the lights on and all of that, very good things. And the other one is just blacked out. They are a black spot on the map. Well, which one of those do you want to be living in right now?

58The one with the energy, of course, because energy is life. Basically. And then I mean, everything else you can hear about North and South Korea. How much do you really want to live in North Korea? Just, you know, as one example, but what about East and West Berlin, back during what was that the Cold War? Was it, Mom? Yeah. I don't remember it. I don't remember the exact years. But yes. 1945 to 1990. See? I have this right now. There you go. But it shows a pretty serious difference. In East Berlin, under Soviet control, it operated under a socialist system with a centrally planned economy, whereas West Berlin aligned with Western allies and had a much more capitalist system with free markets, private property, and all of that, you know, you would think that if the centrally planned the socialist was so much better, everybody would want to be running from the capitalist side to the socialist, right, Mom?

59You would think. And yet, many people wanted to escape the socialist controlled side and get to the Western, the capitalist side because of all those limited freedoms and everything else around. I think it's from 1949 to 1961, before the Berlin Wall, around 2.8 million East Germans fled to West. So from socialist to capitalist. And then the wall was built to stop the mass exodus, excuse me, a lot of big words here. I'm tired. But very few people from the West side, everyone to move to East Berlin, I wonder why that could be. Well, and I read something from a guy that had traveled there back then and what he wrote about was you could even see the visually the difference between them, you know, the East

03side, the communist side was very dull and drab, not a lot of color. Things were not kept up very well. Things were dirtier, like you could just see the difference and then he would go to the West side and what he saw was, you know, bright colors, things were well taken care of, lots of shops were open. It was just, it was such a night and day difference for him that it was shocking visually for him to notice the difference. So he had written about it. And I wish I could think of his name off hand. We brought it up in a different show, but I don't remember it. I just remember how he wrote it because it really hit me reading that how the difference is that clear just by looking at it. And so you'd think that that would be a big clue for everybody and yet it seems like the media doesn't, it never portrays it that way. Exactly. And by the 1980s with this East and West Berlin, the socialist side East Germany's GDP per

03capita was around $9,000 compared to West Germany's 20,000. Oh, that's a big difference. Yeah. And in that East Berlin, the socialist, I like to keep saying that, reinforce it. But in the socialist side, basic goods like food and clothing were often scarce. It was faced rationing, limited choices, state surveillance, and even the state secret police suppressed any dissent. Well, of course, whereas in the other side, they really benefited from all the free markets. They had rapid growth, West Germany had what's some called an economic miracle, which is booming industries, innovation, and a vibrant consumer economy, reading off of what someone wrote about it. But yeah, they had higher wages, plenty of goods, plenty of freedoms, and it really got

04a lot better there. So in the capitalist side, we had a lot more wealth, freedom, everybody was a lot happier. Whereas in the other side, you have people trying to escape to the other side because of how bad it is. Many little freedoms and a lot of food rationing and whatever else I've just mentioned, it just was much better on the capitalist side. So this brings up again, the examples of the more capitalist we get, the better things seem, and the more socialist we get, the worse off things seem. Why do people keep trying to do socialists? Why do people keep trying to do socialism? It's not going to work this time. It hasn't worked any of the other times. Our recipe doesn't work, just because you use it in a new oven doesn't mean it's going to magically work this time. I'm referencing Ethan's scenario of baking cakes, whereas instead of using this example, this recipe that we know works and we've proven works several times, no, we don't like that cake recipe.

06So we're going to do something different, all right? And one of the ingredients is drain cleaner, all right, just, you know, got to be healthy for you. Really clean out, but you make it and it doesn't work. So you blame the oven, burn down the house and move on to the next one. Yeah, that's a great, actually, a very good after you got to love what Ethan comes up with. And he's not here, meaning I get to steal the stories and jokes, which is just awesome. That works too. Well, we can come back and talk more right after this break. Brushwood, media network. Every parent wants their kids to be successful. And today's world, getting them the right knowledge to do this can be a challenge. My husband and I decided to homeschool our kids and give them a financial and real world education, rather than making them memorize things they would probably never use. Our results are kids who became financially free before they could drive with no money or credit from us. Now at 16 and 13, they co-host our real power family radio show and Devon is in his third year of college.

07How can you give your kids a head start like this? I got our book, Family Success Triangle, which outlines the lessons we taught our kids. We want you to achieve amazing results at any age. Get your copy of Family Success Triangle on Amazon today. And be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel at Real Power Family. And listen to the Real Power Family Radio Show Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. on the brushwood media network. Welcome back to the Real Power Family Radio Show. And mom, I believe you had something else to talk about. We had a guest on, wow, back in the early days of the show. His name was Jacob Kim and he told a pretty telling story of his parents. Now his mom was from North Korea and his dad was from South Korea. And his mom had told him the story when she was young. Her whole family was literally kicked out of their house by the communist government. And so they literally walked to South Korea, walked, that's a lot.

07And that's where his mom met his dad because his dad was from the South Korean area. And after they got married, they had moved to the U.S. and that's when he was born. So he was a U.S. citizen. He was born here after his parents had moved here. But telling the stories of like what his parents had to go through and what the difference was in his mom's stories versus his dad's and you know, it was amazing to hear the difference just in their viewpoint and they lived there. So if there's anyone listening who is from a communist country, if you've got stories of things that we could tell, we would love to hear what you've got to say. You can email us info at clearskytrainer.com. Thank you Devin, I had to get that out. Yep, you can also just so anyone knows if you'd like to call in or supposedly you can text this number. You can also call 833-233-642-8. That's 833-B-2-1.

10Yeah, you and Ethan are much better at knowing that phone number than. No, that's just, I scroll up to the top of my notes where I wrote it down. Oh, perfect. That's perfect. Yes, we would love to hear your voice as well, so feel free to call. All right, and then let's see, oh, here mom, here's some other incredible news. And granted, this may be a little bit old when the show comes out, but very recently, the silver price shot up. Because I remember a week or two ago, it was at like $93 and then it's shot up to $115. It's currently at about $110. That is a massive jump up. Do you see that and what caused that? Well, we've been talking for a long time about silver is not only a store of value, which makes it valuable in and of itself. But it's also used. We've talked before about it, it's a great conductor. So when it comes to something like electricity, that's why they use it in solar panels. That's why they're using it in electronic devices.

11And when you've got so much being used, I think the biggest problem is is we're using more than we mine. And that's literally been going on for the last five years. It's been five years since we have mined more than we have been using. And so our sock pile is just going down and down. And when you don't have enough supply to meet demand, the only outlet is price. Exactly. And when you have all of that, and did you say how much like we have not mined this much as we're using? Yeah, and essentially, and we can't just start a new mine. This isn't like, oh, next month we can have this open running. It takes years to get a mine not only permitted, but producing. There's got to be infrastructure. We've had lots of metal people on the show that they've talked about how difficult that can be and the different steps of the process. And it's not that it can't happen, but it's going to take years. So if we're already behind in meeting the demand, that's only going to get worse, not better,

13until we can get more being mined. So I think this price is going to keep going up. And that's maybe not what the banks want to hear, but that's definitely what I think is going to happen. What do you think, David? The price of silver and gold both have been suppressed for so long that them finally shooting up is going to be at welcome relief for a lot. And for all of us that took bets that it's going to have to shoot up eventually, especially because of all the reasons my mom just mentioned that like that's working out pretty well for us. All of that $37 silver I bought and all of the real power family silver rounds that we promoted for so long, not just because like it's not, I don't think we actually make any money if you buy those. It's just you're getting somewhere that you can actually do something with. Plus it's really cool if you happen to have something with our logo on it, but it's also one of the cheapest generic silver rounds out there.

16Well, and being as pure as it is, it makes it a great way to store some value. For those of you that have already bought a real power family silver round, I bet you are cheering yourself and patting yourself on the back right now because when it first came out, they were what, $30 some dollars and now they're over a hundred. That's a big amount for it to have gone in just what, six months, seven months. It hasn't been that long. We're doing pretty well. This is like crypto levels if returns. I'm quite happy. It makes some people nervous because obviously things are, they feel wild. It's like a wild ride, you know? So I'm sure that that's making a difference for some people, but those of us that have been studying metals and been fascinated by the gold and silver in its history and all of it, we've been so interested in this and investing in it for so long that at this point we're finally seeing what we knew was going to happen, actually happened. Like this is that point where it's like, huh, I guess we were actually right about this for so long.

20I mean, we were saying that this is going to happen and sure I believed it consciously, but subconsciously I wasn't sure. Yeah, apparently we were right about this one. I think that's one of the things that happens when, when things finally start to move and you've been waiting on them to move for a really long time, you finally get that feeling of, okay, yeah. Now things are finally going in the way I expected the logic of the situation. Because again, five years of using more than you, I really would have thought this price would have moved a lot faster or a lot sooner, but it really has been recently that most of the motives have come. Yeah, it's slowly and then all at once. Yeah, yes. For those of you that want to learn more about gold and silver, Dana Samuelson from American Gold Exchange has some great videos. They've really, they've done some updating to make the beginning even more exciting, but his information has been not only spot on, but just great to hear, easy to listen, easy to learn from.

21I really highly recommend so you can go to AMERgold.com. Make sure you're signing up to get access to his videos. They do come out every couple of weeks. Usually has one out, and I love that kind of education. We've also had Alan Hibbert from goldsilver.com on this show. It's another great source for education as far as gold, silver, and money in general, because that's where we also got the hidden secrets of money, right, Evan? And the hidden secrets of value. Yes, hidden secrets of money, hidden secrets of value also great places to learn about gold and silver and other precious metals and things like that, but it really goes into a lot of what is money, where did it come from, why is it there, and where do we go from here? And like it, those series do a great job of that. I highly recommend them. They're on YouTube, or I think we have links to at least the hidden secrets of money on our website, realpirefamily.com.

22Now that we've got all of the promotions, which like the hidden secrets of money, they don't pay us for that. I don't think they make money from that, really. Everything we just said is stuff. We listen to stuff. We learn from stuff that has made a difference for us. That's why we bring it to you, because if it worked for us, it can also work for you. Yeah. If we didn't actually do this, I wouldn't be bringing it up, especially not as much as I am. All right, Damon Samson's cool, and I believe they do pay us to promote them. And at the same time, we are constantly saying it on here just because they are awesome. Thank you, Damon. Because that's who I'm using. That's who I get my golden silver from. And they've been amazing. The customer service has been phenomenal, and they're so easy to work with. They make it almost effortless to buy some golden silver, and I love that. And they've answered every question I've ever had. We even had some listeners with questions that they were helping me get answered. So I think it's, but they've been wonderful.

23So again, check them out, AMERgold.com. And we will be right back after this break. Kevin, what was your first investment? My first investment was in silver. And we buy our gold and silver from American Gold Exchange, which you can reach them by calling 800-613-9323, or by visiting AMERgold.com. And right now, for a limited time until they run out, you can get an Austrian one-ounce silver Philharmonic, which is one of the most popular silver coins in both United States and Europe. For as low as $1.99 over-spot price, again, there are limited quantities. Eagles are under $4 over-spot. Make sure you check out American Gold Exchange at AMERgold.com. Gold has been money for over 6,000 years. And with the Gold to Silver ratio of around 100 right now,

25there has never been a better time to buy silver. Welcome back to the real power family radio show. Today, we have been talking about what was going on in Argentina and how well the results are turning out. And we brought up all the changes as far as silver. Because if you are in a place where you're concerned about your government and its financial responsibility, then Gold and Silver can be a great way to store your energy and your value so that you have it for future purchases. Instead of relying on a currency that's losing its purchasing power every day. Right, Devon? Exactly. The dollar has lost its value since basically 1913 when we got the Federal Reserve, or especially since 1971. You can see the charts here. You know what? I got to look up something. But after 1971 and Mom, how do you tell us what happened in that year? In 1971, that is when Nixon took us off the gold standard,

27meaning our dollar was not backed by anything that has value in and of itself. I was not alive for that particular item. I know that he broke into the middle of a TV show to tell people this. It was supposed to be a temporary suspension, by the way, but everything temporary for the government seems to end up becoming permanent. Yeah, yeah, they seem to do that a lot. And actually, a good website I found they actually show quite a few different charts. And you can see just all the things that conveniently change right about at that time is WTF happened in 1971.com. Which is a pretty good question to be asking when you're like, wait, why did inflation explode at that time? Why did everything else like suddenly go into a downward spiral at that time? Oh yeah, they took the dollar off the gold standard and could print as much currency as they

30wanted. They turned it from money to currency and therein lies the problem. And when the government doesn't have anything to stop it or control it or, you know, keep it controlled in some warmer fashion, then it will go crazy, which is what we've seen. We are now spending trillions of dollars more per year than we bring in. And that's just an unsustainable situation. Exactly. And you can't, if you're outgo exceeds your income, your upkeep will be your downfall. That applies to businesses, that applies to the government. And you can't make up a loss in volume, at least not like this. Governments have tried for many thousands of years, it hasn't worked so far. You know what has worked, buying gold and silver to hold your value, because even in the past 5,000 years or so, gold and silver over the long run have roughly kept their value, which is very cool I may add. Yeah, this whole situation is getting us into worse and worse shape as a society, as a country.

37And we're seeing this happen around the world, lots of nations are having the same problem of spending too much, taking too much control. And really, it's going to lead us all down a rabbit hole where we're essentially fighting our way to the bottom. But I think it's coming down to the fact that we've got so much, you know, socialism and communism being pushed. And if you go back to Sololinsky, I don't, you might not know who that is yet, Devon, but he actually said there are eight levels of controls that can be used to transform a nation into communism. And I think we're, we've seen so many of these already happen here in the US that when you read through the list, it actually is kind of scary. You want to go over some of these? Sure, go ahead. Well, the first one is health care, control the health care, and you control the people. And I can think of is Obamacare where I can't remember who said it anymore, but we've got to pass it. So we can find out what's in it was one of the things said by one of us. Was that like Nancy Pelosi? Was it?

38It might have been, but like that just blew my mind when it happened. And I was, I really was not politically aware enough to know how that was going to affect everything. But what I know is as a mom, our health insurance went from being affordable to being four to five times more expensive than it was. And they called it the Affordable Care Act. So it immediately became unaffordable. It was very frustrating. And then you couldn't go off it or you'd be fined. So it was just like so much wrong with that whole program. I don't, for some people, maybe it gave relief, but to other people, it did absolutely made it so much worse that we really didn't even want to have health care anymore. So I don't, I don't think that worked the way they were hoping it was going to work. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe you just stopped trying to help and just put stuff back the way it was. Maybe that would be better. And mom, look at how many other countries also have like government health care and how's that working out for them. I'm looking at you, Canada, and you're assisted

41suicides or whatever you call it. Oh god. Yeah. That's, that's a terrible situation. And how long? Like you've got free health care in like 12 to 16 months, if I remember correctly, or some crazy long wait time. I don't remember exactly what it was, but like you've got a way to outrageously long time in the US. It might be crazy expensive also because of government. But at least you can get it sometime in the next year. Yeah. Time frames are definitely better here in the US still. But we'll see if that continues. I don't know where we're going to end up. So that'll be interesting to watch. You want to go through another level? Sure. What's the next one? The next one is poverty. Increase the poverty level as high as possible because poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you provide everything for them to live. The problem is is the government that can give you everything that you need can also take it away. And that is where we end up into what worst problem and not a better one. Exactly. And we have a lot of government like how many different programs do we have? Food stamps,

45EBT, section 8. I can't even tell you all the other ones were just given stuff away. And mom, I don't think I have the note down anymore. But like all of that isn't exactly helping people. I mean the number one item bought by food stamp recipients is soda. Oh wow. I did not know that part. Yeah. And I think it's like 56% of them or something are either overweight or in poor health. There was something along those lines. Like I said, I don't have the note set right now. But it was it was insane. Like wait, so you're overweight. Why are we paying for food again? It doesn't seem like you're starving. Oh, I think we're back to what's in our food is actually making it worse as well. People just need to eat healthier and more natural foods. And less of this ultra processed have a lot of bad oils and kind of food that we've been ingesting. So we need to change a lot of the thought presses around food. But that's all topic for a whole other show. Yeah. I mean, there's also plenty of like waste and abuse there. But we don't exactly have the

51time to go over that right now. So what's the next step, mom? The next step is debt. Increase the debt level to an unsustainable level. That way you're able to increase taxes and this will produce more poverty, which we're watching right now. The debt clock. Where did I put this on the phone? Here it is. So are you saying that being the most in debt country in the entire history of the world at 38.6 trillion with a team out trillion dollars 30 all of that 38.6 trillion. You think that qualifies? I think that qualifies. Although the next step is when they haven't managed to get through yet. And what's that? The next one is gun control. Remove the ability to defend yourself from the government. That way you're able to create a police state, which some areas have managed to do. But it has not taken on throughout the entire US. There are still a lot of us that are very attached to our guns. I'm just saying that when they try to do that, you will have

52every redneck in the entire country rising up at once. Because as many of them will put it, you can take it when you pry it for my cold dead hands. Yeah, I really think that's one of the things protecting our freedoms right now is that so many people on their own guns. And we've got the second amendment to protect that right. And I think that's been key in preventing a worse situation for ourselves, really. And I know that's not how the media sometimes portrays it, but I truly believe it. Other countries, mom. I forget like plenty of other countries have either severely restricted or straight out band most are all guns. And like, look at Canada, look at the UK, how are they doing right now? Just tell me, are they really happier than the US? I mean, granted, like we have more problems in some areas, but in a lot of ways, we're doing far better. And then look, I forget which country it was. Was it Poland or Germany or something, somewhere over that

55direction? You're up. Let's put it that way. Where they no longer have a gun problem, mom, because they, if me and she get rid of enough of those, now they've got a knife problem and they're police where chainmail or at least some of them do. I think I've got one of your teenagers. You're taking everything. It looks awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Your teenager takeover that went over that was interesting. I liked that. But yeah, I think our second amendment is definitely helping us out. The next step is welfare, take control of every aspect, food, housing, income of their lives, because that will make them fully dependent on the government. And again, we're back to, if you're dependent on the government, taking give it, but they can also take it away. So, yeah, problems with the system. Yeah, I think we covered that well enough. What's the next one? The next one is education. Take control of what people read and listen to and take control of what children learn in school. Wow. We could have a whole show just on that one, really. It's pretty much. I mean, look at

57the department of education, look at the public, uh, forces, I mean, school system, uh, look at the colleges we have now in days, uh, look at everything else. How insane is, like, how insane is some of the stuff they're teaching? It's, yeah, outrageous. And seems like every other day I'm hearing something new, uh, about, wait, what do you mean they're teaching that? What do you mean that's in a textbook? There's no way. Wait, never mind. It's 2026. No, if that's possible, I don't like it, but it's possible. True. This is why homeschooling has taken such a foothold because parents realize that whether kids were learning isn't what they believed or what their kid, they thought their kids should be learning. And so a lot of parents have taken control of that so that they know their kids are learning the right things and they're focused on the right things. And I think that's been huge for making a difference and at least combating this particular step. It's not perfect, but it definitely is making a difference. Exactly. And I think, you know, it's one of the

02reasons I'm so happy you homeschooled my brother and I, it, my brother and me, yeah, that one. Uh, it makes our lives so much better. And like, I'd say it's worked out fairly well. All right, what's the next point? Because I want to get through all of these. The next one is religion. Remove belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in only the government and believing that they, the government is all that knows what's best for the people. Yep. And we're seeing that too. Like up until very recently, uh, religion was silently disappearing. Like it was just fading away. Now granted, here's some good news. Gen Z, uh, is kind of bringing it back. I am hearing more and more times that a lot of my generation is starting to attend churches and whatnot. And I mean, even I'm getting more and more religious. Like I'm even wearing. Yeah, he's holding up his cross for those of you that can't see over the radio. But that like, I'm getting more and more into this. And so it's a lot of my

07generation. And there's probably playing effects that go into it. I don't have time today. But, you know, maybe I'll get, I guess, down or something, they can talk about that sometime because that's also truly fascinating. So that's at least some good news for us. I was very proud because you and your brother have been going to church services. Even if you're dad and I are not attending, like you just decided you wanted to do it and the two of you have been going and doing it every Sunday. And I just think that even if you guys don't go, like it's just me and Ethan here. Yeah. Well, I mean, I've been to some of the ones where you guys were doing scout things. And so I, but yes, as a general rule, I have not been attending church. So I'm sure I'm going to get hate mail from some listener somewhere. Yes, if you want the story of why I'm happy to share, but we can do that on a later show where I can do it by email. We got to get through us to these steps and we're getting low on time. The last step is class warfare, Devon. Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor and eliminate the middle class. Wow. Do you think that's going on right now? Yeah. And it's almost as if, you know, you have

09prominent politicians that are, you know, perhaps doing their fight oligarchy tour with first class plan tickets or a private chat and doing, uh, wearing a dress, you know, totally fictional scenario. Definitely wasn't done by someone in government where it said tax the rich on it. Or, you know, anything else like that. Yeah, I'd say that's going on a lot. That makes it, if you can cause that kind of discontent, it'll make it easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor, which is exactly what we've got going on right now. And people that can't stand together that are already fighting each other. There's so much easier to control because they're not going to fight against the government. They're too busy fighting against each other. Exactly. When you're too busy fighting your neighbor, you cannot fight the greater threat of, in this case, your own government. I mean, as George Washington put it, uh, free people ought

10not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to mean a stacks of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government. And we're back to this is why I think the Second Amendment is actually keeping us in some freedom right now, because I think it would be worse. But, but you look at this, and this is these are things that are happening all over the world. They just happen to be really, but really well known to me here in the US, because that's where I live. But it is amazing how many nations seem to be fighting to win their way to the bottom. You know, like they like they won all these bad things to be happening. But all these steps really are occurring and to know that is almost frightening from my standpoint, because, you know, my kids, you and your brother, you're going to be growing up in this world. And you're going to be having your own kids in this world. And I want to make that better and not this mess that has become. And it's going to take some work to make the world better. But you know what, I have high hopes for my generation still. Like if any one

14generation is going to do a lot to really improve this, we've got a good shot at it. So for everyone out there, and I just am talking to my generation because it's my generation. But Gen Z, I'm counting on you to help me and we're going to make the world a better place. Mom, wrap us up. I think we need to stand together. We can't be fighting each other. We need to understand that there's a bigger threat out there, as Devon said. And if we stand together, we can keep our freedoms, Devon. Keep learning, keep growing, and use what you've learned to make the world a better place. We'll talk to you tomorrow.
