0:00On April 6th, Chad Gray from Mudbane in Helia is diving back into some old Helia tracks after seven or eight years away since drummer Vinny, Paul Past. He's prepping for his 30 years of madness tour, kicking off April 24th at Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gray calls it weird getting those songs under his fingers again, especially after the band grieved hard. Those celebration of life tours right after Vinny's death hit the crew rough. They jumped on stage too soon while still mourning, but moments on stage. With Roy Mayorga crushing drums, kept it alive. Mayorga, who played with Helia bassist Kyle Sanders back in medication, filled in perfectly for the welcome home album push in September 2019.
