CBS Trims Episodes for 4 Dramas, Adds New Shows

Joining it are the NCIS spin-offs, origins heading into season 3 with 10 episodes after 18 and Sydney in season 4 with 10 after 20. Meanwhile, Matt Lockett's 13 episodes for season 3 admit season cut from 16 right after its second season finale this month. All four series got renewed back in January, but these shorter orders free up space on the schedule. Fire Country stays on Fridays, while origins slots in Tuesdays at 10pm this fall and Sydney takes over mid season.
