The Cleveland Cavaliers made a big move on Tuesday, March 3rd, trading guard Darius Garland to the Los Angeles Clippers for veteran James Hardin, just before the 2026 NBA trade deadline. Since Hardin joined, the Cavaliers have climbed to fourth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 39 wins and 24 losses. They trail the New York Knicks by two and a half games for third place and the Boston Celtics by three and a half for second. Hardin has praised his fit with Donovan Mitchell, calling them a perfect match and a system built for success.
